I want to print this on a A4 Size sheet. I dont want to use bitmap image solution for this. That looks terrible, in which an image of complete form is displayed as "Print Preview". how to cleanly print out the content ?

I want the same application to be used in other three different systems which do not have MS Visual Studio. How can I do it ? I've researched that .dll and it appears to be able to "Silently record users' sensitive personal information, identity details and business files, make traces of the users' online activities and browser habits and then transmit them to insecure remote servers".
I haven't downloaded this .dll or found a location to download it. Am I correct in assuming this program was designed with malicious intent?
Saving Data From A Custom Designed Richtextbox?
Oct 18, 2009I have encountered a problem at the end of my project. I basically have a really nice RichTextBox control which I have made with help from others, which supports images, text colors, text higlighting, text size, background colors, etc. My problem has come when I try to save the data from the file - it loses text color, formatting, images etc. Is there any format in which I can retain the formatting or should I make my own file type with all the data embeded in a HTML-ish sort of structure, eg:

Nov 8, 2009I have written this code implemeting MVC design pattern.... for simplcity... i have create Model with BLL having a two classes Employee and Designation and i have created the DAL using the Dataset designer tool....thus i've implemted all relationship bewteen the two tables Empoyee and Designation connected to each toher using field EmpIndex.
In MVC design pattern i should return objects to the controller (in this case i used only the view- win form) becuase of my Designer created DAL i cannot return objects of Employee and Designation to the View... this is becuase in BLL: the following method

Aug 19, 2008Below is the code that we have been working on. We have bolded the parts which we are unsure about - they are producing errors. (its near the bottom)The program is designed to generate a random hand of cards out of our list of them. This program is a smaller version of what we hope to have in the full one - ie. It tries to get a random hand of 3 cards out of a possible 5.
The part we are having errors with is getting the images to display on each of the 3 'picturebox' objects using a loop (so we don't have to type each picturebox individually).

Jul 29, 2011I am working on a application in which I have to show different forms stacked one upon the other. Due to some restrictions, I cannot use MDI and also it has a lot of issues. I am able to get what I want but with a problem. The forms will be stacked, but they do not remain in the parent form. Lets take it by an example. The structure goes like this.
1) There is a form A (My parent form)
2) a second form "B" opens on a button click event on Form "A". (Note: B.ShowInTaskBar=False)
3) again, a third form "C" opens on a button click event on Form "B". (Note: C.ShowInTaskBar=False)
Now, when I minimize form A, it gets minimized but the Form B and C, remains as it is. I want them to get minimized at the same time. I want form B and C should remain as a child form of form A.

Format The Form - Making It Appear The Same For All Resolutions
Jan 17, 2010Firstly sorry if this has already been covered, though I am trying to find out if there is a way that I could make all objects on a form appear in the same area no matter what the resolution of the screen is? e.g. I have a group box located down the bottom right for a 1024x768 screen resolution but when I view it on my widescreen laptop it isn't right down the bottom right where I want it. Is there a way this can be done? I'm assuming i could check the system properties to tell me what the resolution is and if it's widescreen then change the location of the object.

Apr 28, 2009Im new to this forum and VB Programming. I have installed Visual Basic Express 2008 and SQL Server. The first thing I did was create a new project and within that project created a new sql database. The database I created is to keep a list of clients and I have fields such as client_ID, Firstname..etc The next thing I did was create a data entry form for all the database fields using textboxes. Also 2 buttons named save & cancel. So when the user fills out the client info and clicks on save I want the data to be written to the client table. I know the code has to be written within the save button but I don't know where to start like opening the connection, writing to the database and closing the connection.

I currently created some buttons (1 per side and 1 per corner) which have a background image corresponding to their position on the form.
