But in my system I have two DVB-S and one DVB-T tuners.How can I check the kind of each tuner (DVB-S or DVB-T)?Is it possible to get a "FriendlyName" of the tuners?I need this info to select the right tuning-space.
I'm trying to use the MSVidCtl to utilize a TV tuner on VS2008, but so far only got Audio but no Video. I've seen some other discussions and some other people having the same issue, probably related to "no encoder found" from the feature list of the tuner? How to make MSVidCtl work?

I don't really know why it keep displaying the messagebox that says it failed when I have input the valid strings in the first place.
I am writing a calculator app in VB Express 2008. I'm trying to get the app to accept numeric and operator input while ignoring all the alpha input. In other words taking input from the numeric keypad and the top of the keyboard and ignoring all the letters.

I cannot figure out how to incorporate the number of days into the input box then get it to loop and count the number of times the User inputs in the number of days. Then I have to incorporate it into the equation to get the total distance D = MPH * Hours. What I have right now wil not count up the number of days and locks up after I input one number and will not add anything to the listbox. Because I also have to make sure that they cant add nonnumaric values and the number of hours per day cannot exceed 20. I have put things in and taken them out but it has been 2 days and I am lost now

I've been working on some code to add together input from an input box to make a string and display it in a message box. I've put the code in a loop so that it will add all input into the string until nothing is entered in the input box.

Basically, I'm new with coding, so I decided to work with Minecraft - specific a Minecraft Server Starter. It has a built in text box to display all the stuff that the console would normally display and an input tetbox to use commands.I have it so you can either use the Normal Minecraft Server or a Bukkit server. Basically, when I run minecraft.jar it works perfectly, I get the Output from the console and I can input commands.When I use craftbukkit.jar (bukkit) I get the Output of the console fine, but I can't input any commands... I can't figure out why it's doing this!

I have a form set up where users can enter their booking for a room at my college. I want to validate the user input to avoid SQL injection (my program uses a MS Access database) and also stop numbers and synbols in their name, etc.I can do the validation fine, but there is to be a lot of validation and then methods executed only if all validation tests come back as true. I did have something like this:

And then check the fail variable, but it obviously gets overridden later in the form if one of the validation tests come back as true.

My thought is to use an input box that asks me to type in the ticker name. The macro will then use this input to obtain the latest price of whatever ticker i type in. I can't figure out how to put the input box data into the macro. In the macro below, I want to put X wherever the web query uses the ticker msft. That is my code so far. I am confused on how to do a do until loop withna input box that will onyl have "N""n" or "Y""y" in it. The text for the input box is "Do you wish to continue?" Then you enter Y for example which then has to make the textboxs blank and put the focus on the first one and then repate the process until the user enters N.
