Pasting A Bitmap Data On Clipboard From Screen Capture
Nov 29, 2011There is Bitmap data on the clipboard from a screen capture. If I paste it into a RichTextBox it works OK. That is, if I remove the first two lines below.
Dim clipboardDataO As DataObject = CType(Clipboard.GetDataObject(), DataObject)
Clipboard.SetDataObject(clipboardDataO)
RichTextBoxTxt.Paste(DataFormats.GetFormat(DataFormats.Bitmap))
However, If I capture the clipboard data and restore it before I paste I no longer get my bitmap displayed in the box. My problem is, in the real situation I need to use the clipboard before I paste which is why I save it and restore it above.
1) Do you know why restoring doesn't appear to work here?
2) I can't paste before the save/restore. Is there something else I can do?

I wish to save the HTML + Images that are displayed in my Web Browser Within my application. Or say if I go to a website and they have a dynamic image that keeps Changing is there a way to save that image that is displayed on the Web Browser control?

Is there something like bitmap that will let me draw images onto a picturebox or something like that with unlimeted space and it deos not to up much memory space? cause there are some game makers with huge maps and they used visual c++ but how i dont know

Jun 12, 2009I am using the following sample at [URL] within VB.NET. The code is shown below. I am having a problem when my application loads the CPU is pegging 50-70%. I have determined that the problem is with the Bitmap class. The OnLayoutUpdated() method is calling the InvalidateVisual() continuously. This is because some points are not returning as equal but rather, Point(0.0,-0.5). Any better implementation for pixel snapping a Bitmap image so it is not blurry?

Bitmap Background Becomes Black Upon Saving To JPG
Dec 7, 2010I have a little piece of code which saves a certain Bitmap to a JPG image. The Bitmap is "composed like this" ( Ppiechart is a picturebox):[code]So After it is declared I start to do some drawing on this bitmap. And then I want to save it like this:[code]So this saves the image. But the problem is that the background of the image turns black when I open the file on my PC.The background of the Bitmap in the program itself is white. So does anybody have an idea what may cause this? Do I have to declare a color for the "mybitmap"?

I've tried all sort of Image and Graphic calls and just can't save the meta file as a .tiff. I even tried to create a new bitmap and draw the metafile onto it. I always end up with a GDI exception being thrown.

Apr 9, 2009I am allowing users of the admin panel of my website to upload photos, its a simple process where I check the validity of the image and then save it to a folder, then I also have to record a couple of database records for that image to be able to retrieve it later, my saving function is as follows...The function that uploads and saves the picture in the folder with a name i construct in another function: [code] and the function that creates the database record for that same picture: [code] Now I know that what I am doing is full of best-practices violations, so please point me out to what I should do, keep in mind that the users might delete the pictures later, so I wanna make sure that I can delete the database and file of the picture, and the whole issue of the path.

I have an extremely simple image editor that I created to make the images I require for another program. I have incorporated the image editor into the other program. However I cannot figure out how to save user-created images in the ImageList I am displaying via ListView. If I am aimed in the right direction, I can usually find my way through the maze.Additionally, I may need to know how to select that image (I may be able to figure this out later).

Saving Images Using SaveFileDialog?
Jul 1, 2011I am attempting to save a graph that I have displayed on the screen as an image file (e.g., a jpeg file) but the image I want to save has additional information such as axis labels that are not displayed on the screen. In addition, I also want to suppress some information that appears on the screen.
I create a separate bitmap canvas called mycanvas and I recreate my display on this canvas with the additional information. When I save it with an image format such as iftype=system.drawing.imaging.imageformat.tif with the command mycanvas.save(filename,iftype), I get the image file that I created on mycanvas. But If I use the SaveFileDialog followed by mycanvas.save(filename,iftype) I merely save the image displayed on the screen. It is as if my graphics object has reverted back to the graphics object I was using for the screen display.
