Save An Image From SQL Server To MS Access .mdb

I have a SQL Server database with a table that has a column that stores an image. I have another database and I would like to store the image from the SQL Server database into it. It's type is MS Access 2000 format .mdb.
The problem is I get back the content of the column and I put them in an array of bytes as follows:
Dim arrByte() As Byte = CType(dtAll.Rows(0)("DailyProgram_Image"), Byte())
It sends me back the data of the image as byte type. When I try to save this into the access DB it give me an error because of type mismatch.

I need to know how can I save image in SQL SERVER 2000 by VB.NET? I made a table in SQL SERVER with two fields. One is Id[nvarchar] & another pic[nvarchar]. I got two forms there in VB.NET project. I'm having issues with the way I've been reading my image datatype blobs from my SQL database (code below). This code works fine when I access this page directly. The PDF will open and works just fine. However, when I try to use this page to download a file and save it to the file-system programmatically, it fails (500 server error) and I've verified that it's the same URL either way.So, my question is what is the best way to download a file from a database image datatype and save it to disk?PDF.aspx

I want to send a image to server side using HTTPService,I am using ASP.NET for server side coding. I am "weeks new" to visual basic 2008 but I was hoping that someone might tell me how I can open an image in whatever type of "visible" graphics window (always positioned at: x=0 y=0); move to some "definable position" of interest x=(n) y=(n); change the brightness of that "individual pixel" by some "definable means of measure" from its original state; and save the new image as a separate image file?

How do I upload the client's image file and display it in the web form's image control?How do I save it to the sqlserver? The image table is already set up with a "Image" data type column. Can the image be saved to the database as simply as other data types?

I'm a VB beginner.I've been playing with Graphics.DrawString by watermarking a picture with a text string. The picture below to the left comes from PictureBox with a text string drawn with Graphics.DrawString. The font style used is Arial 48 points, regular, I think. The picture in PictureBox shows just as I configure. Great... The resolution of the original Terri Hatcher picture is 300 dpi (300 x 300). Exporting this picture with Graphics.DrawString, I get the picture below to the right. The text string appears a lot bigger than previously shown in PictureBox. It turns out that the text size varies, depending on the resolution of the original picture. That's kind of odd. I develop several graphics applications in a different environment and have never seen this sort of graphics.drawstring thing. Anyway,

I am trying to edit an image. I can open the image with Picturebox1.load(mypicture)
I can change the pixels/edit the picture by Dim img as new bitmap(picturebox1.image)

now here is the weird part. When I save the image the filesize INCREASES..but the picture dimensions are the same Example... TEST.PNG 1.3KB, when opened up via picturebox/saved the image is now 2.3KB
not sure why...i even though I specify system.drawing.imaging.imageformat.PNG
samething with JPG... it actually SHRINKS it evenmore.. example 88KB jpeg.. saved as jpeg is now 47.7KB...

I have a client/server application set up that the client sends a word file to the server and then the server converts that word file to a .TIF and sends the image back.The stuff I have now works.Say if I sent the size of the file and the actual file byte() to the server back to back, would the NetworkStream contain both back to back? This what I though would happen. So I implemented a kind of 'turn' based interaction during the duration of the conversion process.

2) Get the ID [URL]I'm not sure how to integrate this code into my code. I am stuck here.
3) Save the image in the filesystem using the ID as a filename - I can save the upload an image and save the image to a directory on my computer, but I am unable to name the image that of the ID of the access database.

We are currently using Access 97 as our database. This resides on the remote farm server (which is a Windows 2008 R2 server). We are using a front end vb6 exe which accesses the back end data.Occasionally we are getting corruption to our database and we have to make sure everyone exits the software to allow us to repair/compact it. There are 2 physical servers, each running 2 virtual machines. When the user logs onto the farm using RDP, they go to one of these 4 virtual machines.We are getting all kinds of corruption, some where # characters have been inserted into the top of one table, some where the indexes are corrupted, and some where access needs to repair the database.

I'm making a front end to dvdauthor.I have a picturebox which holds the menu background. In order to draw a textbutton on the background image I store the image in a hidden picturebox. So the text doesn't get drawn to the visible background.

I want to know how you can export data from a disconnected database that could be access or ms sql to an sql server database.
Here is the scenario:
I have several software in a remote sites on either sql or ms access databases as back-ends...and I have another sql server database that i want to consolidate data from the remote sites.
One solution I have been thinking about is to use email to send incremental backups of the databases to the main database using a separate piece of software and have another one on the main server to pull that data into the database.
Basically am looking at setting up the remote databases as linked servers at the main database and then having incremental backups sent by email to the main database.
I have thought of replication but the internet link at the sites is terrible.
Is that a good implementation? If yes
How do i get to send the incremental backups and get them imported?(the code)

Visual basic 2008 standard edition..Net 3.5
SQL Server 2005.
32 bit architecture.
