I am writing a program that involves the split Function. The user will enter A, B, C. I wrote a splic fuction code (below). I am not quite sure if it is right, I would also like to know how to write the code for that split function when the user preses the save button after entering there input.

I would like to recreate the behaviour of a button or command button on an user control. I need to layout a group of this user control on a form so user can select only one at a time. When users click on one of this user controls a selection frame is drawn to indicate that it has been selected. The problem I have is clearing the selection frame when other control is clicked on. How do buttons or command buttons do this? If you layout a group of buttons only one is highlighted. I have tried using different events like LostFocus and Leave and nothing seems to work.

in my form i have 4 textboxes and i want all not to be empty while saving the data.I have put condition in save button,when user presses the save button to save data, to check all the textboxes not to be empty. My question is that, i want to focus to that particular textbox which is empty during saving the data.
For example: i have txt1,txt2,txt3,txt4 as textboxes in the form if txt1 is empty while saving, the focus should switch to txt1 rather user himself have to go there.

why the doc.Save("filename.xlm") might not be working? Trying to do a simple routine - just loading an existing xml file and saving as another name onto local C: drive. Seems to run ok ie no errors, but the file doesn't save. 'Save' part of the doc.Save command is coming up as a different type colour in dreamweaver.
Also, secondary problem, getting error if use a long directory name in the doc.Save destination filename - comes up with 'URI formats are not supported'

this is the statement:select ITE.stock from orderdetails ord join ITEquipment ITE on ITE.product = ord.productnamey goal is to retrieve the stock from ITEquipment depending on the name of the product which has to match from orderDetails table. when I try this on the SQL SMS I get stock in two records of stock (for some reason 2 not 1, I should get 1)and then I try to use it in my application it returns a full set of records from orderDetails table instead of one record from the ITEquipment.

View 2 RepliesI have already done the creation of button and the dragging of button at runtime already.But now i need to know how do i save the last dragged button on the form and also detect the name of the last clicked button.so lets say i now drag a button to coordinates 25,254. so when i exit the form and the next time i launch it, the button will still be at 25,254. and this one will go on for the number of button i created like 100. so when i launch the form the 100 button will be at the exact position where i last saved them.the second part is lets say i created button1 and button2 on the form in runtime. so when i clicked the first button, it should display button1. and if i clicked on button 2, it should say button2. same goes for like 100buttons.

View 5 RepliesI have been trying to fix this and make this work for pretty much three days now. I already solved one problem being, I can't use the shell on one HDD and create another file onto a different drive other then the drive that the directory of the application is running in.
EX:
If I run a program that is on the C: drive and using a working directory that is on the C: drive, I can not create a file onto the F: drive.
I got this problem when I was just using Shell(Environ$("Comspec") & " /c then the command")
So I decided to use Process()
