Save Button, Save Webpage As Mht File (.net 4 Vb)
Oct 25, 2011I have a website written in .net 4. I'd like to include a save button on one the pages that will save the webpage as a mht file. This way the user can save the page as a mht file type on his/her desktop without have to use the browser toolbar.
I'm currently working with the following code but I need to modify it so it to capture the url of the current page the user is viewing verses hard coding the url into the button click event.

VS 2008 League Organizer Project - When I Save(Save Button) The Text File Saves All The Text Wrong
Oct 7, 2009Its a League Organizer, basicly ive started it off with 16 teams and end up with 1(winner) 16 box's on the far left, then 8, then 4, then 2, then 1. the 16 box's have "Team 1" "Team 2" etc... ive put a new/clear/open/save button in that order.
BUT this is my problem..when i save(Save Button) the text file saves all the text wrong it ends up like this...Team 1Team 2Team 3Team 4 Etc...
But i want it to save like this

Etc...

Jun 10, 2010I am writing a text editor program and I have written the new, open, save as, exit menu items but I am struggling with writing the save option.Now I have created the menu itself (well vb did, I just used insert standard items) but how do I code up the save menu option so that it updates the current document or if the documnt has not yet been saved bring up the save file dialog.Here is the code I have so far

Mar 15, 2012I have a simple program that opens up a text file and changes it and then what I want to do is save a text file when you click the "convert" button to the directory that the exe exists in e.g. "C:UsersBeaudeanDesktop--Distro--" etc. so say I have a richtextbox with the text in it I want to save and a button called "convert", when I click convert it will save it in the programs root folder with the name "main.html" and I also want it to overwrite any file with the same name.

May 20, 2011im trying to make an application which on start ask the user to browse for a .lnk file Once the lnk file has been browsed,the application is shown and there are two buttons
1.Launch
2.Exit
When The Launch Button Is Clicked,The .lnk File which the user browsed to at application startup should open. On exit,well it just exits the application! and the openfiledialog should pop up only for the first time the user ever opens the application.the file path should be stored in a .txt or .ini or registry file so that next time he doesnt have to browse for it again..how would i go about doing this!Here is my code so far! Apr 26, 2011My button gets a commandargument of empty string even though the commandargument gets set. I have verified it gets set to the correct ID in debug mode, but then when I go to access this commandargument later in the repeaters ItemCommand event the commandarguments are empty string. And I have no idea why. I end up getting a sq foreign key exception because it is inserting an ID of 0 from the empty string values. There is no other code regarding the repeaters buttons that would be resetting it.

Oct 19, 2010I have a calculator like program which has a function to export a string ('StringBuild') to notepad .The process start OK but it has a funny problem. When I run Process.Start it also keept running a sub that I had linked to one of the calculator buttons.I played around with the code but now it runs a hyperlink that I have on the calculator. I even tried adding an empty, hidden, button as the last item on the tabindex to see if that would work but it hasn't.

Feb 24, 2009in my form i have 4 textboxes and i want all not to be empty while saving the data.I have put condition in save button,when user presses the save button to save data, to check all the textboxes not to be empty. My question is that, i want to focus to that particular textbox which is empty during saving the data.
For example: i have txt1,txt2,txt3,txt4 as textboxes in the form if txt1 is empty while saving, the focus should switch to txt1 rather user himself have to go there.
