I want to show some forms but I want them to appear on specific locations . The problem is I don't know how to specify the coordinates . Using :
frm.Location = "0,0"
or
frm.Location = (0,0)
tell what is the correct syntax ?
And more thing : when a form is maximized or minimized , it looks like "flying" upwards or downwards . Is it possible to stop that visual efect ?

What I want to do is when I click on each grid on the form (Touch Screen), a tooltip of some stored information about the grid appears on screen. For example, if I click my mouse on square 6,8 then some stored information such as grid number, grid name, level...etc appears on the tooltip on the screen.
I am creating a simple researcher application to access and store data. As of today it workes by entering a number into a text field and hit enter/button. The result then shows up in a non-menu webbrowser window. What i would like it to do was to exclude the web browser window, and instead show in a popup window inside the application. This should be rather easy, here's what i think might be a problem. I want only to show specific lines from the webpage, not the whole page.

I have a dataset called KeyData made up of two tables Customers and Orders.
I have two forms, one named MainForm that shows records from Customers in details view and the related Orders shown in GridView called OrdersDataGridView. The other form is called OrdersForm and is populated with the Orders table from the keydata dataset and shows records in details view.
When I navigate the MainForm customer records the correct orders are shown in the OrdersDataGridView. So far so good.
Here's the code that was generated when I dropped the tables within KeyData dataset onto the MainForm:

View 1 RepliesI am attempting to show a specific form using a treeview control, the nodes of which have their tag value set to an instance of the Form I need to show. The code I have in the DoubleClick event works great for the first time I show a form, but after that I get an object disposed exception. As you can see, I tried handling it by resetting the tag, but that didn't work. Is there any way I can show the form more than once without going through a switch statement anytime the exception comes up and resetting the tag to the right type of form? I'd like something nicer looking like the way I show the form.

My issue is that the windows (alert.Show) open in a frozen state where the mouse pointer displays the hoursglass and the window does not respond. The windows show in the list of objects no problem.
Is there a special way that I should be opening these? I can open windows on the main class no problem.
I read that <form>.invoke(alert) might work, but there is no invoke on the main class according to VB.
I am thinking this might be a threading issue, but I don't know how to fix it because this is the first program that I have made using a Sub Main instead of a form.
