I have a small "options" form that when shown, the user submits some changes, clicks a button, and then it fades out. I want the form to open at the mouse location. How would I do that?

View 3 RepliesI am developing an application with a number of windows forms. The first form I designed is the one that opens when I run the program. This was fine all during the development and testing.
Now I want to add a Login form but can't figure out how to get it to be the opening form when a user starts the program.
Is there a way that I can use like F1, F2, F3, etc to open a specific form? I would like to have an options form but not have it to where anyone can access it unless they know the Function key to use.
View 1 RepliesI have a dataset called KeyData made up of two tables Customers and Orders.
I have two forms, one named MainForm that shows records from Customers in details view and the related Orders shown in GridView called OrdersDataGridView. The other form is called OrdersForm and is populated with the Orders table from the keydata dataset and shows records in details view.
When I navigate the MainForm customer records the correct orders are shown in the OrdersDataGridView. So far so good.
Here's the code that was generated when I dropped the tables within KeyData dataset onto the MainForm:

What I want is that when i click this button it should ask me a customer Id and then go to that customer id in frm_customer
I've created a very simple form with one button on. I need it so when the form runs, it opens in the bottom right hand corner of the screen regardless of the resolution. It also needs to be always on top of all other applications.
When the buttons pressed, i need it to close all iexplore instances and reopen a fresh instance.
I've tried to search for the answer but to no avail.
When I open my child form,

It opens up the new form, but now I can not interact with my main form. It will not accept focus or allow me to interact with it.
Do I need to change the form type?
I'm using the xmldocument class and I need to check in an RSS document if it includes the optional tags for a news item document. The two main ways that gets passed if via a <dc:creator> tag and an <author> tag below an item tag./rss/channel/item/?I'm new to this. The last line of the file is a ------- and the final stock is on the second to last line. HOw do I add a stock before the ----- and after the final stock??? I can't use append because that simply adds to the end and after the ---.

I would like to add functionality that would allow the user to click on a specific part of the photo and add a point overlaid on the photo. I have a DataGridView control which is NOT bound any underlying data table. When the user selects a row (multi select is not enabled), I want them to be able to click an "insert" button to insert a row into the table below the selected row.I can insert a row at a specific location with the code below, and it will insert a new row at the location specified. My problem, is that I need to get the currently selected row and add 1 to it. However, the insert method below accepts an integer, and I cannot figure out how to get the currently selected row as an integer. I can only get it as a Row collection, which does not help. This would necessitate the ability to move/resize/scroll the other forms, but obviously everything is frozen during the dialog. I don't suppose it's possible to achieve this "semi-modal" state, where other forms can be browsed, but no other actions taken?
