Test Which Tab Is Selected In .net TabControl?

Jul 22, 2009I drag Tabcontrol.& add two tab pages. I have contextmenu Strip, dat i bound to tabcontrol.I select the ContextMenuStrip & set it to ContextMenuStrip1
Now i right click on tab headers.Suppose i right click on tabpage1,contextmenu is displayed.I want that when i right click on tabpage..I want to get the index of that tab..Even if dat tab page is selected.[code...]

Tab-Movable Tabcontrol - Get Selected Tab's Item Width?
Apr 7, 2012I'm recently tried to make a custom tabcontrol that able to move the tab to left or right...
But there's a problem, I'm don't know how to get the tab's item width... What I get with TabControl1.SelectedTab.Bounds.Width is the tabpage's width, not tab item's width...
I need to get tab item's width to know if the selected tab had to be stay, or move left, or move right, when the mouse is moving and holding...
For an example, if the cursor pressed and holding Tabpage1, and it move to Tabpage2, then the Tabpage1 should be move right...
If I can get the tab item's width, then I can know the cursor is on which tab by mathematics... Or if can, I want to get the tab that on the cursor directly...

When a user starts to type in and the AutoComplete does not find any matches in the listitems the user can tab out of the ComboBox and leave what they typed in the combobox even though it is not one of the Valid Items. Is there a way to check the Comboxbox to make sure of of the selected Items has been selected?

I'm creating a program that will copy a selected file to a selected directory, and I want to store recent files/dirs so that they can be selected from a combo box. I was planning to just create a settings with "files" and "dirs", and just store the strings as | separated values (since that's an illegal file character).

I have no problem substracting the daydiff in numbers of days. The problem I have is that I need the DateTimePicker to tell me how many of those days are weekends (friday, saturday) and how many are weekdays.

Apr 16, 2009I have a tab control with several pages. Within a page I have a panel. When I drag and drop a database to the panel the datagrid view is placed on the panel, but the bindingnavigator is placed outside the tabcontrol. Running the application shows only the bindingnavigator, which seems to have blocked the tabcontrol. If I cut and paste the bindingnavigator to the panel, and running the application shows the page with the bindingnavigator at the top and the datagrid below. However, the bindingnavigator no longer allows me to add and save entries to the database. I made sure all the properties were the same before and after i cut and pasted the binding navigator.As a test, I removed the tabcontrol, dragged and dropped the database to the empty form, and everything worked.
