[Code] my issue is that now i need two cases, first i need a query that will return the date created and modified of the table and i also need to know if its possible to query a list of table names in the database ordered by date created but that have a certain thing in their names. for example the database contains the following tables: [Code] and what i need the query to return is the tables that contain "Data", settings and employees are for the other functions of the program. so the query should return the 4 data tables in order of date created. but i have no idea how to go about doing that in the query, does anyone know how this is done?

I can save my data to access database and in the access database field I set it to date/time.But problem is when I get the value out from the database.. the format is always month/day/year hour:minutes:seconds example today: 5/2/2011 12:00:00..How to get the value into listview becoming May/2/2011 without the hour..Here's my code to get it from database ListView1.Items(i).SubItems.Add(dt.Rows(i)(14).ToString).The second problem is.When I would like to edit, how can the datetimepicker get the listview value ? My code Adds a New Row from a Source Table called "objTablaOrigen" To a final table called "objTablaDestino". This tables are passed ByRef because they come from a DataSet respectively. objRowNuevo is The Row that will be added to "objTablaDestino" The data from "objRow" is well copied to the "objRowNuevo" (that is the new Row with type of objTablaDestino).

my sql statement is returning null when when I compare date from access database and date entered in textbox in vb. seems to me that the two dates are of different format so null is returned from the select statement but how do I go about this.[code]

If I read the DataGridView cell using:

I have two Access database, say database One.mdb and Two.mdb. I want to use VB2005 to export tblCustomer from One.mdb to Two.mdb, and replace the existing tblCustomer in Two.mdb, during run time. I basically want to simulate the export function that is available in MS Access (which can export one table from one Access database to another) with VB2005 during run time. I can think of a way by querying the table to a dataset and then delete everything on the other database before filling the table in that database with the dataset

The code executes as far as the red line which triggers the error message "Conversion from string "DateOfBirth" to type 'Integer' is not valid." There's probably something wrong with the final "If...End if", too!

I'm writing an asp.net page with a simple registration form that connects to my access database and inserts the values in the table. So I have my database, my registration page, everything looks fine in my code, but there's a syntax error I can't seem to figure out. Firstly the program is suppose to display items in the database base on the criteria selected by the user. what i've succefssfully done so far is I've added a datagrid 2 combobox, 1 (searchcbo) with the columns in the database and the other (searchcbo1) will autoload the items under the column selected in and a button (searchbtn) but i have no clue of the code to put in the button. i also tried the fill method but that didnt work as i wanted to. ultimately i want a combobox with the list of columns and a textbox to enter criteria and of course a search button.
The searchbtn should act as the "WHERE" sql command, e.g. SELECT EmployeeNumber, Firstname, LastName, Phone, Location....etc FROM CallLog WHERE searchcbo.text = searchcbo1.text And display the results in the datagrid.

I used a msgbox(n) to see the number of rows in the database but it displays only one where I have two rows in my database. The for loop is the one which will detect the number of maxrows and also retrieve out the corresponding details. But apparently this is not the appropriate way.
