Here the coding is all are correct but the problem is when double clicking the button only it was worked ,,,iwant want to change it into single click
Is there a nice simple way I can validate that text box using an If statement to make sure it follows the rule [#][#]:[#][#] (The #'s are single numbers) and not allow anything but a ':' to separate the pairs?

View 2 RepliesI have a Search form where the user can click a Button that opens up a rtb with every single word (12,800+) used in the King James Bible. Every word is Capitalized ("Thankful, Grateful", etc), so in my code, the user selects a word, then right-clicks and sends the word to the TextBoxSearch in lowercase. Now, if the RTBDisplay (where all search results go) is empty, then a msgbox pops up asking if the user would like to re-search the same word in Uppercase. If they click OK then the word in the TextBoxSearch (lets says: "thankful") is supposed to become "Thankful". But instead, the TextBoxSearch goes blank. I have tried many variations of code, and here is my latest (doesn't work):

For some reason, when I click the Button, it winds up in the btnLookup_Click event and displays the various messages, but it does not update the label (labLookup) text on the form. I have a grid that displays data from a binding source. I have a method to handle the CellContentDoubleClick which will get the value of the cell and use that to do a new look up. This will generate a new datasource (with different columns) which I then rebind to the grid.
My grid double click works, but when it repaints with the new data, a single click fires the double click. I have no code in place to handle a single click .
The interesting thing is that it is (in my case) a toggle. If I double click, on the repaint, a single click fires the double click code. When it repaints again, I need a double click .
The double click code fires off a messagebox - if I tell it not to continue, then I have to double click to get it to fire again. So it is not dependant on what data is displayed.

When it is in the mode to respond to a single click, I can tab through all the controls and then click on any cell in the grid and it will still fire the double click.
No matter what I try to do (set focus to other controls, refresh the grid, etc.) nothing seems to reset the grid so it works consistently.
