Am using Visual studio 2005 with MS Access. I have a Datagridview with a date column in format 11/23/2011(Month/Date/Year).
Now i want to know how 'search criteria based on particular month and date'.
For Example if select 'Nov' as a month from combobox and click on search button, only November month details should be displayed.
I changed the date of datetimepicker format to yyyy-mm-dd in custom format...but it displays 2009-00-22...the month part is not showing the month of the exact month..how to change the format of the date?

I have a problem with my program, and it's really bad because I need to burn it to disk within 12 hours and I can't get it to work: If I create a record, add information to it and click on Next Record, the ID, Status and Notes boxes content will change but the rest of the controls contents are carried over to the next record and I don't know why or how. It was working perfectly but now it stopped and I never done anything.

In my app I have the date format as Format(Now, "d") which shows 13/12/2009 but when inserted it displays as 1900-01-01 in the DataBase. I also need a button to delete records, but I am completely terrible with databases so I have no idea what I need to do to add records. I assume I can just have the form clear to be ready for the input but I don't know how to get it to save the data.
The whole thing works in Access but I guess that's older VB or something, they were using the acRecord to be able to cycle through all the records of the database. What is VB.net's equivalent?

Every word is Capitalized ("Thankful, Grateful", etc), so in my code, the user selects a word, then right-clicks and sends the word to the TextBoxSearch in lowercase. Now, if the RTBDisplay (where all search results go) is empty, then a msgbox pops up asking if the user would like to re-search the same word in Uppercase. If they click OK then the word in the TextBoxSearch (lets says: "thankful") is supposed to become "Thankful". But instead, the TextBoxSearch goes blank. I have tried many variations of code, and here is my latest (doesn't work):
