AppointmentsMissed (<the project's name) Under Security in the project's Properties Window these suggestions are made: Visual Studio was unable to determine the Code Access Security (CAS) permissions that are applicable to your project. The most likely cause is that your project references a strongly-named assembly that defines custom permissions, but that is not properly installed in the global assembly cache (GAC).
To correct this, try the following: 1. Ensure that any custom permissions defining assemblies referenced by your project have been properly installed to the GAC. If any of these assemblies have been rebuilt or have had their version numbers modified, you must install the new assemblies in the GAC. 2. Restart Visual Studio.

I've tried to upgrade the application using VS2005, VS2008 and VS2010. With VS2005 when I attempt to upgrade the source, it says the system was developed in a newer version. Oct 30, 2011I avidly create games in VB.net. Being a hobby programmer I give my games away for free. Since I'm a hobbiest without formal training I do try and educate myself on proper programming principles and follow them when programming such as OOP. There are however some things I have obviously missed being self-taught that perhaps I would know if I were formally educated. Once such issue that has really been my bane is how different classes (from now on referred to as objects) 'know' about each other WITHOUT programming specific interaction.
Okay imagine this, you have a space game and the following objects

Now each one of these objects has a Health, X,Y and Z private members and properties that are all inherited from clsSpaceEntity for argument sake. Now one way of programming collision between them would be to code out the following logic in the main game loop

Now this might seam okay if your talking about the simple example above but some of my games have tens or even HUNDREDS of objects that interact in this basic way. Is there a way in OOP to do the following... for each thing that inherits from clsSpaceEntity check against every other object that inherits this type (except itself) and if they collide then reduce health next? This sort of ability for a type of objects/class or whatever to be 'aware' of another and how they are the same/different and interact would save me tonnes and tonnes and TONNES of coding.

Jan 17, 2009Im trying to make it so that a user make a selection, with that selection is a IP address (192.168.1.) and than it gets looped and pinged from 2 till 254 strip = string and gets his value out of a case select. from mainpage (so its a public string)But i get an error that it cant get converted to a string and that it should be less than infinity.look code below.. i even tryed to make a seperate integer who adds the 2 others together (strip = 192.168.1. and intcount = 1 2 3 etc, those 2 together gives a full address)i cannot convert the strip to integer cause then it complains on the mainpage about the "cannot convert, should be less than infinity".[code]
