Jan 5, 2011I am trying to bind an Access database to a MSChart control in VB Net 2008. I have a test database populated with four fields SAMPLE-DateTime, Values-Number, MAX-Number and MIN-Number. I'd like to only display the rows that fall within a specific date range but I'm running into a problem when i try to execute the following command:

Oct 3, 2011For the past 2-3 weeks, I've been on VB Express working on different word processors, working myself up from the level of the Windows Notepad to Wordpad, and eventually (hopefully) something as good as OpenOffice.org Writer or Microsoft Word.I'm currently stuck on something that I can't quite figure out. My question is basically this, "How do you add subscript and superscript characters (not just the few numbers in the character map) to a richtextbox control?!" I'd be very grateful to anyone who could provide me with some help in this area.

Cannot Open Form - Index Was Out Of Range Error
Sep 11, 2010While trying to open a form I get the following error:
An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. The error is: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

Previously the form loaded flawlessly. I made several small changes to subs contained in the form, and after that the problem appeared. These changes included some changes in the constructor. I've tried to track down the problem simply by adding message boxes near potential problem areas, and it seems that the exception is thrown before the constructor is even run. The error message baffles me, since I'm not knowingly using any parameters, and the routine opening the form doesn't refer to any arrays (or any other variables).
Here is the part of the source code that the error message refers to:

The user chooses the "night" then the program grabs the value from the column with that variable name, except i think i hav e the wrong syntax because i get the error "Index out of range exception was unhandled" - this pops up on the line
current_count += myDataReader.Item(Night).ToString and is pointing at the word Night.By the way when I say column the technical term maybe field, however it is a column in the database entries...

I have made a function to convert them to fractions as text ( 1.625 converts to "1 5/8 dia."). I would like to make the 5 superscript and the 8 subscript. I can do this manually by highlighting the number and formatting, but I would like to do this in code.
