I am trying to create a program that will send a URL saved in a textbox between the program which will be on different computers. So one computer will be running the program and the URL they have will be sent to the program on the other program.

I have struggled to find a way to make this work. I have a listbox that has 5 items. These items are lets say Company Name, Address, User Name, Phone, Fax. On the form I also have the same labels with richtextboxes under each of the above names.What I am looking to do is have each listbox item equal the text that is related to each textbox. I have a win form with three textboxes that lets the user input information using VB.net 2008. I am wanting the program to send me the information entered (when they hit the send button) as an email and also drop the information entered into an access database.I have the program sending the textbox information as an email.What I am having trouble with is saving the three textboxes to access database. I have an access database set up with a table and three fields for the three textboxes.
All I need to do is each time a user uses the program, it adds the information they enter into the three textboxes to the three different fields in the database. I don't need to let the user view or edit the database in any way.

However the AndAlso should short circuit in the case where the item is not a ToolStripMenuItem and it doesn't seem to be doing so (as TypeOf xItem Is ToolStripMenuItem=false in this case)?

I know how to do what is in the subject already, but I want to do it a different way than what is stated in the subject. What I want to do is be able to create multiple items with different names and then load the names into a listbox. When I select the item in the listbox with the name, such as Item1, it will put the text from the control named Item1 into a textbox.
I am clueless as to how I could accomplish this. What I am doing is adding Items to a menustrip's dropdown Item, then adding items to the dropdown items. So I would have the item collection such as:
One
Two
Three
So I could choose the item in the listbox with the text "Three" and I could load several properties of the item Three. Such as Three.text, Three.Tag, and Three.Name. And I could also edit these. And then when Three is chosen in the listbox, I could add sub items to it.
So it would look like this in my perspective(Although the code would not work)

I am trying to Send an Email with an attachment (using Gmail) but I keep getting errors like "Operation Timed out" or Failure Sending Email". It was working earlier today but I found out that i needed to add Using statement because the email was having a file open that had to be deleted after it was sent but afterwards it doesn't work.

I have ListView with records (2 columns), I have also TextBox. I want when i type something in the textbox and if there is a match to select me that row of the ListView and if there isnt a match there will be MsgBox. I`ve succeeded to do it with 1st column. I'm not getting the results I want. If I've selected "Mickey Mouse" and "Donald Duck", then I get "Mickey Mouse" 3 times in the textbox. If I select "Mickey Mouse", "Donald Duck", and "Foghorn Leghorn", then "Mickey Mouse" gets displayed 4 times in the textbox.
I develop an application in vb.net and mysql server for data storage. I have a problem in my database I have something like 5000 codes stored like code, description, quantity, price, firm. I have a function to extract all the codes from database , it takes about 4,4269 ms to extract all 5000 codes with description and everything... in an arraylist. When I want to put all codes from arraylist in a textbox autocomplete, it took about 2305,400 ms and I think this is a big problem the function to put in textbox autocomplete all the items from arraylist:

Ok so i have a textbox that gets items from a website and pastes in that then the list box adds the items but i want each line in textbox to be a new item instead it just adds it all as one

So the on this application a user will click a workgoup then a location then when they add the workshop it will and the prices to gether and put them in the lstCost, while doing that it also puts the price in the lblTotalCost.Text. Now the problem I am having is when a user adds more then on workgroup and location the lbltotalCost is geting what ever the last line in the lstCost is and multiplying the last line by the index number that it is so if the last line is line 2 then it will * 2 for line 3 then *3 of what ever the price is. Heres what I have so far...
