I am required to send MS-Access table to SQL Server Database, based on fields Selected in Listview.
1)Till now i am able to get Access table names and their field in List view.
2)I am able to check whether database exists and Whether table exists in SQL Server with same name from VB.Net.Now i don't know how to insert Access Tables based in Fields Selected in ListView to SQL Server.
i have a databound combobox using VB2010 and MS access as the DB.. When i click on a button, the selected item in the combobox will be deleted from the database and no longer display in the combobox...

I'm trying to create a table in Word using data from a table in Access. There are four fields in the access table that I need. 3 fields are text which I can populate the Word without any issues. All textbox fields must be filled before the user can click the button to continue. To this end I would like to disable the button as long as there is at least one empty textbox.
If I had only one textbox field, it would be easy for me to do. In the Textbox1_Leave event I would check if Textbox1.Text is not empty and if so, set Button1.Enabled = True.But what should I do if I have three textboxes? Have three event handlers, one for each textbox? Or is there a way I'm not familiar with?
how i can implement below requirement using asp.net and vb.net.I have three fields in a form which are filled by users. Based on these three values, i need to auto-populate the 4th field.I have planned to implement this in the following way.Write a separate class file with a function to calculate the possible values for the 4th fields based on 1st 3 inputs. This function can return some where between 1-10 values. So I've decided to use drop-down for 4th field, and allow users to select the appropriate value.Call the above function in onchange function of 3rd field and take and use the return values to populate the 4th field. I'm planning to get the return values in array field.(Does this need a post back?)

- A file object will be created.
-Said file object will read in a number of files from a specified file path.
-A dataset will be created and populated with fields from two columns within a database table; app_id and company_name.
-The script will read through the file names and fields recorded in the dataset, renaming the file to the app_id if the original file name contained the company_name.
The code I have so far to do this:

The problem is that currently this code will only rename the file if the file name and company_name match exactly, ideally I'd need to include a clause to make it rename if the file name is "LIKE" or "contains" the company_name.

I am getting an error at the "Do While DMReader02.Read = True" line: "Invalid attempt to call Read when reader is closed." Why would the reader be closed at this point if I am using different DataReaders in the two loops?

I have a database with a table that is a child to many other tables. I am using this child table as a datasource for a datagridview. I am using comboboxes to display specific fields in any parent tables, instead of the user seeing the foreign key. Everything is fine. However, I would like to filter the BindingSource based on text matches between any of the fields in the child table and the corresponding fields of the parent tables.

For this code I am able to populate the first combobox and when I select the specific item in combobox then the second combobox shows only the first element of that item.

1) Contains the device ex:computer
2) Contains the device and its parts ex: cpu, monitor so here the device has duplicate values

I have 3 forms, one frmMain - main form, second is frmUserType- childform, and the last frmCreateUserType. In the main form I have a menu item to open my frmUserType, In this form I have a button to open another form which is my frmCreateUserType, In this form I have a button to add records then update the listview in frmUserType. The problem is the listview will not access with my add button control in frmCreateUserType. I tried not to used mdiparent declaration for my frmMain and frmUserType as children and it works, so meaning that the problem is showing my frmUserType as childform?I am using vb.net 2008
