I have an HTMLElementCollection that I'm going through using a For Each Loop to see if the InnerHTML contains certain words. If they do contain any of those keywords it gets saved into a file.Everything works fine but I was wondering if there is a way to simplify.[code]

I have some code that splits a session into strings by a -
My session looks something like this 123-456-789- and I split it like this
Dim MyString As String() = Session("MySession").Split("-"C)
And i've got a some code like this
Dim x as Integer
For x = 0 to MyString - 1
Response.write("Ref: " & MyString(x) & "<br>")
Next
This writes the code like this
Ref: 123
Ref: 456
Ref: 789
Ref:
So it's adding an extra Ref where it shouldn't be because there is no data after the last -
Is there a way to stop this adding in the extra one?
Is it possible to make your own function for a String? So you could do this:

if a.Exists then 'do something

Alright so, I've got most of a program I am doing finished, but I'm having a problem at the end. The user enters a SKU (XXX-XX-XXX) and hits search, and it will search two excel sheets and output the quantity of both. The first sheet works perfectly, however the second it can have multiple instances of the SKU, and I need it to locate the one that says "XXX-XX-XXX Total" and output the quantity of that one, but I cannot seem to get adding the "total" suffix right, as it constantly says SKU not found. I'm adding text string into a list box together with data retrieved from text box, and I wanna bold that text but really don't have any idea how to do so.

I just wanna bold that first bit of text in the quotes.
I have a for loop which goes like this -

The sqldr is the sql datareader (not important here)
I want my end result to be

As so, but what if i miss a day? Or i dont always work saturdays sundays. from the code below you will see i have not added any work around fora null value. My suggestion is to incorporate a <nw> (no work) tag, but the code needs to change <nw> to my own personal message that i choose.

Can you set a condition inside the string.format parameter.So if i have

After adding a string to the program from the resources the build always fails, and removing the string and the code to load the string does not solve the problem, as the build still fails. We've been using multiple versions of the program since this started happening with the most updated one, and adding the string is what started the failure in building even though we added other elements (like an exit button) and other forms without it failing. With the one that started with the build failures we've tried it on all types of computers and it does not manage to build on any of them, even one's with a new installation of Visual Basic Express 2010.
The exact line added that apparently makes the build fail is:

Developing a multilingual application in VB.Net 2008, Im able to add resources to forms and create a multilingual forms depending on uiculture. On reading Msdn on creating the multilingual string values for messagebox contents, have added the .resource file to the project files path as specified. There is no error on compilation but throws the MissingManifestResourceException error

There is strFormResources.resources and strFormResources.fr-FR.resources in Resources of the project. I have searched for this error details but could not find a solution. What am i doing wrong or is there any other method for displaying multilingual strings in the messagebox.

I am trying to create a simple Word doc that when the user presses the button it takes the information in the boxes and tosses it into a template style paragraph. But my issue is that I have two combo list boxes as seen in the picture. I want to have two values in the drop down list as seen in the labels next to them but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do this in Word 2007. In Visual Studio this is much easier but I am work and need to snap this out for the folks at work. Is there an option that I can choose in the properties where I type in the values for each drop down or do I have to add them in at run time?
View 1 RepliesI'm adding labels at runtime to my form with a tag. Let's say I have 3 labels with the tags, "1", "2" and "3". I'm adding the tags by counting the labels + 1. When I remove a label with tag "2" from the form there are only 2 left. When I add a new label it will add a new tag "3", but that one already exist. So my "solution" isn't a very good one Although tag "2" is free, I want to give it "4". Any thoughts on how to code this properly?

The error is Value of type '1-dimensional array of string' cannot be converted to 'String'.
I want the Function to accept List(Of String), Array & String and similarly return List(Of String), Array & String respectively. The Function simply adds a string (month) to the input collection. I just want to use it for string, array and list with needing to think of conversions.
