Automatically Update The Url Bar In A Web Browser?

I'm making a web browser and want the url bar to update when you click a link, like it does in firefox or IE.

When I try to compile this I get the error
Value of type 'System.Uri' cannot be converted to 'String'.
Anyone know how I can convert this so that it works?
I want to have an email client in my vb using just the web browser of it.I want it to auto log in and will not display the log in page instead it will login automatically in the website.It will show directly your mail inbox or let you in automatically log in your email account.I will give the default password and username that will be use in the email account using a textbox found in my form.
Is there a way to have your program automatically create a proxy for a specific browser, like IE, when your app is running? I was thinking that maybe you could create a VLAN proxy or something and a button on the app to toggle it on and off. But I'm not sure how or if one can do it.
am working with Web Browser control and with emails ".eml" ,simply am just navigating the WeBBrowser to the email object in my computer and is displaying my email body
but if the email has attachment picture(NOT AN EMBEDDED PICTURE) then the Browser automatically display that image to the center of the browser for example the last line of the html code is <CENTER><IMG SRC="CID:{A4BE96B0-6195-4D93- 45E-97D4B1CA3539}/nature2.jpg"></CENTER> but actually the email dose not has this picture as embedded but is only an attachment ,and the browser is displaying it.
is there any way which i can easily disable that functionality or i should modified the code and replace that string with nothing. ?

On this page there is a hyper link called 'Click Here' .. when I click it, it opens another window with things in it.
How can I click this hyper link in vb.net automatically without me clicking on it with the mouse, and how do I open the window in a second web browser ?
We can assume that the first browser is called (WebBroswer1 ) and the second one is called (WebBrower2).
I know how to perform buttons clicks and do raise the 'OnClick' Events, but I don't know how to do it with a hyper links.

When I select one of the ComboBox items, I want to trap the change and add additional columns based on the item selected in the ComboBox. I've tried using CellValueChanged for the DataGridView column, and a bunch of other events, but none of them is fired when the DataGridViewComboBox value is changed. What event can I trap to make this happen? Right now as I said, I am using CellValueChanged, but of course the event doesn't fire until I click on another cell...

I'm trying to design a small program for my home server that automatically updates an HTML page every time a new file is added to a certain directory.Example, say I already have 100 files in "C:Folder", and on the HTML page, all those files are listed in a table, and when you click on one of them, the file opens, say I add a new file to the folder, I want the program to automatically add that file to the list of other files, and put *NEW* next to it (newfile.txt *NEW*), and I would like it to say *NEW* for 5 days, so how would I go about making a program that does all that?
I am trying to build a self-updating .NET application that will run in an environment with limited user accounts. No admin rights here. The application must run on Vista and XP, and probably Win 7 when it comes out.An X-copy deployment would be fine. I would prefer NOT to use click-once.So far I have tried a system where the application checks a manifest and downloads updated binaries, which worked great in development, but not so much when the app was installed.Vista refuses to to let me copy files to Program Files. After that, I tried downloading an updated .msi, which works except that the MSI has a UAC prompt -- no go if the user does not have an account with local admin privileges.
running the program in AppData and using the x-copy method might work, but I have not seen anyone say that they have tried it and it did work. Will that work for an account without admin rights? Can anyone vouch for this method before I start writing more code?
I have develop a software which can run in different machine and when any update is available then it automatically update all the software dll and exe along with own.
In my software package, I have a Soft_updater.exe which run when update is available but in this case Soft_updater.exe runs and wants to update along with other update.In XP and windows 2003 server it runs perfectly but windows 7 and windows 2008 server it can not run. It's stop in process mode and wants an administrator permission so that it can update itself and along with all.My process have also "runas" administrator right.
I have change user account control settings as in Never notify me and give the software folder along with all exe in administrative rights. I also login as an administrator. But still now I have not solve this issue yet.
how can i automatically update my value when a user changs the listbox item. I have done the PING part, you click a button the it ping's the server IP Address, then return's the result via a label. I want to make one so it check's the HTTP status of the server and if it's on it display's a green circle with a label next to it saying HTTP Status is OK.

I have a datagrid view containing a customer list that if if double click on a row it brings up a customer maintenance window. Once I hit a save bottom on the second form how can I automatically update the database, refresh the grid on the initial window but remain on the same row on form1 that I double clicked on in the first place. So that when the check box is true, columns 1 and 3 turn different colours, and when false, go to a yellow colour.However, when I "re-insert" my DGV info from my text file, the check boxes come back correctly - as true and false on the right rows - but columns 1 and 3 don't change colour. I've tried a "DataGridView1.Refresh" option but not getting it to work.The DGV is unbound. I need it to recognise which check boxes are true and update automatically when the information is opened from a text file.
I have made a kiosk type software (for my 7 year old daughter so she can only do what I want her to do on one of our computers)
1. I have a toolstripcombobox that will be where she puts in the url's. I need information on keeping the history of where she goes? So when she clicks the arrow to the right it lists all the sites she has been to.
2. Right now, the webbrowser navigates to where the url is (www. vbdotnetforums.com), but when you click a link it dosn't update the textbox with the new url [URL]. It just stays at the first url.... Anyone know how to fix this?

I am creating a webbrowser with Visual Basic, and I have finished everything but this: When I click on an external link, (I.E. On a photo, or on youtube) it opens up in a new IE window. I want it to open in my browser, not Internet Explorer.I have read everything I have found on this subject, but it is all for normal web browsers. I want to do this for a tabbed web browser, not one without tabs. Basicly, I want to use this code with my tabbed web browser that uses tab control.

convert the code to be used in a browser with tabcontrol? I tried, and it works with one that DOESN'T use it, but I want to use it with my browser with tabcontrol. And, I have read ALL of the ones previously given to other people.
I've just finished making a web browser suited for my personal use, but when I click on a new link or something it opens a new window in Internet Explorer - which gets extremely anoying.. Is there a way to make all links open up in a custom browser?
