Cannot Transfer Multiple Texts On Same Label

I am creating an application for a point of sale in a bar in which I have a form (frmTransactions) where there are some radio buttons to be selected (main groupbox), each radio button is exclusive, and some combo boxes in the second groupbox to be ticked, which are instead not exclusive.In this form I created a 'Print Invoice' button which opens the form invoice (frmInvoice) and there are some labels that display the text shown on the transactions form; although I managed to do fairly easily the part regarding the customers details I am now finding some difficulties with the part regarding the transactions selected.[code]...

i'm trying to get a label to have 2 colors.ex. of label text: now editing: (written as the set color) trujade.html (in a new font color) that way, if i'm editing, let's say a css file, and i have have the .css file extension in a different color format from the .html extension, i can easily notice if i'm editing a html or a css file just by looking at the file name color.

I have a panel on a form in which I have two labels and a small picturebox. The label texts and image in the picturebox are changed from time to time program matically. I would like to have where a user can click anywhere in the panel to bring up another form, but I have not been able to make it work. Since the labels are I guess "above" the panel, if the user clicks on the label itself, it does not trigger the panel onclick event.

I have an application I am creating that displays pump information based on customers in a database. I am using VB2008 .NET3.5.I have a combobox that has a selection for a unit of measure. What I want to happen is when that is changes the labels that have a unit of measure change to reflect the change. There are 15 labels total that need to be changed and all there names are the only ones in the project that start with a X if that helps at all. I would like to avoid creating a bunch of labels and changing the visible property and just change the text value of each one.

I'm doing a project for my vb.net class and I'm running into an issue figuring one part of it out. The way it works is the user selects the name of a book from a list box and then clicks add and then it's added to the shopping cart which is a combo box. Then there is a receipt button and when that button is pressed, it makes a groupbox become visible and in that groupbox there is a label and I need that label to display ALL of the contents of the shopping cart combo box. I know how to transfer the selected combo box item to the label but how to transfer ALL of the combo box items to the label.
The name of the shopping cart combo box is "shoppingcartcombobox"
The name of the add button is "addbutton"
The name of the label is "label3"

I am trying to select an item in the listbox (e.g. January) and retrieve the number of days to display in the label. Have listbox (listMonth) created but cannot seem to add the data ("31") to show in the label box(lblDays.text) when January is selected.

I'm current doing a computer course at college, one unit being event driven programming - for this I must design and program a till interface?
- One being on each form I have a virtual receipt named lstbox, and I have multiple forms! The problem is the content of each form is not transfering to the next virtual receipt on the next form e.g. drinks selection form 1 you select a tea, it adds to the virtual receipt, but when you hit the button to go to the next selection form, the content of the virtual receipt does not carry over. Could you please help me ?
- Secondly, I have a payment form on my till interface which obviously allows the user to finalise the transaction by taking payment from a customer, what would be appropriate code to use for when working out customers change e.g. If you hit a �10.00 button for customers change, and the charge of the transaction is �6.00 - I wish for an output of amount of change to go to the customer!
Note - I have a vat, subtotal and total text box for where the data displays. So whether to take away from the total text box and work out change that way, or to use the correct variables in my program such as itemcost variable, order variable etc.

I will use the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) to transfer files from a client (laptop) to a shared folder on a server within our local network.The problem is a very slow network bandwith, if we transfer a file, the other clients can´t work, all requests to other clients (application) or viewing internet pages needs a long time.My idea is to use BITS in my tool to copy/transfer a file from client to server, also I hope to get more performance for the internet requests.

I have a Form with a few GroupBoxes overlaying one another and being shown based on what the form's supposed to be showing at the moment.
What I want is to have a text object (label, textbox, whatever) be shown regardless of which GroupBox is visible at the moment. Labels that are not inside the GroupBox itself show up under it and are not visible (bringing to front doesn't help), similar issues with TextBoxes, Panels.. I don't know what else to use.
Am I missing something, is there another way of showing text that overlays GroupBoxes without being in them?

I'm getting an error :
Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the <configuration><system.web><httpModules> section in the application configuration.
I should also mention that this same master page works elsewhere in the site. Session is used throughout the site as well (not just in the master page).

In previous versions of VB, you could click on a label to gain the focus, and then type multiple of lines of text. In VB 2008, clicking on the control does not open up the control for editing. You can use the text property, but can only enter a continuous string of characters. How do you insert blank lines between paragraphs?

I have a method that saves form controls data to a text file, including its text. IF a label has multiple lines, this breaks the text file writing multiple lines to it.I was instructed to simply ignore multiple-line labels and don't include it in the file, but I don't know how to check whether or not a label has can multiple lines or not so I can throw in an 'if' statement.

I am trying to display multiple check items from a listbox into a label seperated by a comma. Everything is working fine but the only problem is that when i check first item in the listbox nothing happens and when i check the second item then the label shows the first item. Then when i click third item the label shows the first and the second item and so on. When i uncheck the item it does the same
My question is why it does not show the items in the label as they are selected.

I'm trying to implement Bandwidth Total calculation into my little desktop monitoring program using 2 *.txt files. Everything else is working great except for the writing/reading part of it. I had put this together originally without the intention of bandwidth monitoring, but I've decided it would be a good thing to have.I want to have 2 monitoring types: Windows Session Bandwidth Total & All-Time Bandwidth Total (since the program was 1st run on the machine). The counter is on a Timer (2nd of 2), and I want it to write and add the label values each second into the file, then when Form3 is opened, to read the text file and show the results.

I tried to get the value text at the end of the field id equal text on the webpage at each line. I only want to get the two value text at each line which something is like this: 111.11.11.11:4000. I want to input them in the messagebox but when I clicked on the button, it displayed as "fieldid=fieldid2=". I am trying to make the project to check and get it response as like this 111.11.11.11:4000 but it got it wrong. The reason why I want to get do this is because when I get the value text with the full ip address and the open port to input the strings text on the messagebox, I can start the next method by writing the code to make the project connecting to the sever with an open port.

I'm new to VB.net programming on printing a page to a thermal printer (Epson T88IV). I really had a hard time figuring out how to code the printing of a bitmap image and some text, while sending commands (through font control) to the printer.I tried sending the escape characters with Control font, but the Graphics.DrawString of PrintPageEventArgs do not allow it.. so I used the RawPrinterHelper class I found on Microsoft KB. It worked out but, I cannot print a bitmap image with it.Anybody knows how to do that?
