I ran into a dead end while trying to convert the scrollbar integer values into color values and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions how I should perform these kind of operations?

Aug 4, 2011I have a Windows Forms VB.NET application, with a panel that contains a few other controls.I set the panel's AutoScroll property to True, and that seems to appropiately apply the scroll bars when they are needed. The issue is that a user must scroll all the way to the right to access the verticle scroll bar. Is there a way to always show the verticle scrollbar no matter where the user is scrolled horizontally?

So if I have a large panel on autoscroll, it works fine for that panel, but I have another smaller panel above that, could I make the smaller panel scroll horizontally with the larger panel's horizontal scrollbar?

Sep 19, 2011I'm using a TLP and it contains controls that exceeds it's height, so it's normal for a vertical scrollbar to be displayed. So far so good, but i can't figure out why a horizontal scrollbar is also being displayed when my controls width do not exceed that of the TLP. Is there some way to remove this horizontal scrollbar?

May 8, 2012i have a paint app that i was doing and i have radio buttons that i was using to change the color and i get how to change the color for example [code] i get that the e.x,e.y is the mouse position and the 6,6 is the height and width of pixel but what i am trying to do is use another three radio buttons each to change to different size pixels but i have no clue on how to write it without using the g.fillellipse but that needs a color parameter so i am not exactly sure on how to start anyone got any hints?

As far as i can think of it can be achieved via overriding the paint event but i have not done any overriding of paint events on windows controls so far.

Jan 30, 2012I am just staring off using VB 2010 after using 2005 for a while. In 2005 I used a third party control to automatically make a button a default color and when the mouse rolled over it, it changed to another color and then back to the original color when the mouse left the button.
I want to be able to set this as a default for all of my buttons in my project as there are tons of buttons throughout. I found the ControlTemplate. I don't know if it is the answer or if I don't understand how it works, but I just am not getting it.
