Position Of CurrencyManager Not Changing?
Apr 2, 2011I'm starting to learn about using the CurrencyManager to change the position of data and seem to be missing something because the postion is not changing. look at this code and let me know what I'm missing?
I hard coded the postion in:objCurrencyManager.Position = 1 and used the debugger to step through the code to see what .Position is holding and after the statement executes, the value is still 0 even though there is data in the dataset. I was hoping the textbox would display the data from the dataset located in the 2nd row of the dataset but the position never changed.

Changing Cursor Position In Program?
Jan 20, 2009This is maybe an weird question because I don't know if its possible so prepare .I am working on a project its a kinda autoclicker.It moves the cursor to positions and perform mouseclicks it all works perfectly.So when it runs you can't do something else on the pc because the cursor gets moved every 1-5 seconds.So I wanna now if its possible to kinda attach it to the program I am making it for so it moves the cursor and do clicks within the form of the program.

When the focus will be on a particular column of the flexgrid then the textbox will be visible and the flex will be disable.The position of the text box will be at the bottom of the particular row at the first time. But when another row is inserted then i need to change the position of the textbox to the botoom of the new row and so on.

Apr 6, 2009Well I'm not sure how to describe it so i uploaded an image that has 2 different control box positions.

The one on top is set up as Render Mode=System while the other image is set up as Render Mode= ManagerRenderMode
Both applications were developed in VB using VS2005.
Each one has its MDI container and their MainMenuStrip set up..
What property/reason would be causing this? I just created a test program simulating the same case (MDI container with child forms) and everytime i maximized the control boxes appear in the correct position.

Oct 18, 2011Basically I want to move my mouse to the coords that is received based on the location of a certain coloured pixel. I can get the coords of the pixel but when using them on mouse position, the mouse position is based on the entire screen rather than the form. How could I change the position coords based on the form rather than the entire screen. E.G. If a certain coloured pixel is 2,2 in a form and I put that as the mouse position, it would go outside the form but I dont want that. I want it to hover of the pixel coords

Nov 25, 2010I am using a button together with a mediaplayer. The button represents the media player currentPosition. (I know this is already a built in feature of the media player object but I need a much bigger display area.) It works as planned and allows the user to get or set the currentPosition. The only aspect I'm not happy with is its jerky movement as it jumps from pixel to pixel. I thought I had solved the problem by using a PointF (MyButton.Left = MyPointF.X) only to discover that the MyButton.Left value is reconverted to an integer (i.e. a position in pixels).
Is there any way that objects like buttons can be positioned accurately using units of less than one pixel?
If not, is there any other kind of object that can be positioned more accurately than a button?

Feb 24, 2009I would like to make data binding using BindingSource whereby whenever either Next Button or Previous Button is click the BindingSource position will change to display the data at that position.
I know that if I want use a loop of the BindingSource I could do somthing like vb code below but I am not sure if of binding it seperately. I usually bind it through the properties but this I cant because is an image column which I want to bind and I have to us memorystream to display it to reduce memory usage, so I asign it to arrPic so that whenever the BindingSource position changes the image column will be asign to arrPic.

The BindingSource filter the picturenames and add to a listbox. One name may contain about 4 or more pictures so when you select a name from the listbox the bindingsource populate only the pictures have the selected name and you can navigate forward and backwards.All what I want is how to bind a column to a textbox or picturebox by code. I know if it is a dataset I can declare a datarow and bind anything to the columns.
VS 2008 TabControl - Position Of New Button Column
Jul 28, 2009I have one form with one tabControl with two tabs, in each one I have one dgv, in the visible change event I create and add a new button column, that will be placed at the end. Now the "problem", if the first tab it's selected when the form becomes visible, the column it's placed in the correct position (last), and in the second tab the column it's placed in the third position.
If I do this with the second tab selected when the form become visible, the column it's placed correctly in this one, and in the third position in the first one... The code that I use, it's very simple, every datagrid it's bounded to a datatable, I tried the add method, then I tried the insert method, then I manually set the display index for each column, and none of this options solved my problem...

Set Position And Size Of An External Application
Apr 23, 2009I am trying to reposition and resize an application I have launched. The hwnd is extracted from the process that is returned from the application start. The call to the Windows API MoveWindow() call moves the window to the top of my screen and collapses it to the height of the title bar.
The x position appears to be correct and the width appears to be correct, but the y position and the height are not correct. I may have the wrong signature (but I don't think so) or there is something I don't understand about the call.[code...]
