View 1 RepliesI'm having a problem getting the src of the image the mouse is hovering over in a webbrowser. I can get an href just fine, just not an src. To get the href, I used this
Something = Webbrowser1.Document.ActiveElement.GetAttribute("href")
When I try to do it for an image, nothing happens. How do I get the image location?

I am currently designing an application form that the user fills to use a room in a specified time. The application is to check if the room specified is available at the time period specified. I am stil wondering how to do this such that there is no clash.
View 17 RepliesThe user will enter a folder name in the combobox1 and clicking the create folder button the folder will be created in the applications bin folder; For doing this, i did this
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
If ComboBox1.Text = "" Then
[Code]....
Now when the user enters a file name in the combobox2 and clicks the save button(Save button is not shown in the snapshot) then a .txt file with the name entered by the user in the combobox2 will be created in the folder whose name is specified in the combobox1.
Im in need of somehow a code that with a picturebox, depending on WHERE you click it will do something.
Lets say theres a picture of a face. The eyes are at like x = 12, y = 28 , if the user clicks the picturebox around that area a msgbox will come up saying "Eye" or something, this is just an example
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-W3CDTD HTML 4.01 TransitionalEN">
<html>
<head>
[CODE]..........
Any way to "convert" this code to vb.net?
I was wondering how I could click a specified area by the X and Y cords, I have looked at the codes with 4 options (0,0,0,0) and I was not able to stimulate a click with it.

I'm hoping someone can help me here. I've been having trouble positioning a Contextmenu when a user right clicks a specific column within a Datagridview.
The Contextmenu is just a list of names and whatever name is selected then populates the 'Right-Clicked' Cell. My problem is the Contextmenu appears in the top left of the screen. I would like it to appear where the user 'Right-Clicked'
Here's the code I am using witih Datagridview1_CellMouseClick1
[Code]...
I'm a newbie and it's taken me a while to get it to work this far. I did originally assign a Contextmenu to the Datagridview Column, and it appears very neatly where the user 'Right-Clicked'
Unfortunately doing it this way I couldn't populate the Cell. So decided to use the method that I have posted above.
Is there any way to change the installion of a click once app to the program files location so that it will be availabe to all users? Right now it is burying the location of the files within the user folder.
View 2 RepliesI need to know how to get the position of the mouse within a picturebox just as you would with e.location, but you can't use e.location with a picturebox and you also can't use Picturebox.Mouseposition which is very unfortunate.
View 2 RepliesIs it possible to point the install of ClickOnce to a directory of my choice on the local computer instead of caching it in Documents and Settingsuser? some place like c:Program FilesFoo Apps for example? I like the ClickOnce stuff a lot and especially the update on run functionality, but would like it independent from the user...
Dev/Usr Environment info: I am using VB Express '08 and SQL Express '05 for my applications in a corporate networking environment and the users will be installing from a network share drive. I have tested this and it works fine, just the location seems to be undesirable.
I'm trying to animate my window's location. I have a window, and when I click on my button, I want the window to move smoothly 100px from it's current location.
Example:
Private Sub minimize_button_Click(sender As System.Object, e As System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs) Handles minimize_button.Click
Dim windowsize as integer = window1.top
windowsize = windowsize - 100
End Sub
But with XAML animation. I have no idea how to make this animation in this type of scenario.

View 3 RepliesI need to map the location of all the back pixels in an image into some kind of structure. The program later uses the structure to select a random pixel location. It then removes the location, to prevent it being used again. The problem is, there is a huge number of black pixels (close to 40,000) so an ordinary array takes forever to search for and eliminate the "used" pixels. Is there some other "Faster" data structure?
View 3 RepliesI would love some help on how to get a DataGridView's Row & Column location on a mouse double click. My program requires that I dynamically add n-number of tabpages with DGV's so I declare my own class that inherits TabPages and creates its own DGV control.
For the code below I use a simple form (form1), add a tabcontrol via the forms designer (tabcontrol1) to it and remove the two default tabpages keeping the basic tabcontrol.

I'm inexperienced with windows forms (vb.net), and I have a rather silly question.I'm opening an old project of someone elses, and there's a PictureBox control on the form. The PictureBox has a photo, and I'm trying to find the location of the photo on the computer but can't find it.In ASPX, I can just look at the code behind and find out where the tags are pointing to (for the photo).The only code that exists for my object, with the image property is this: [code]
