Datagridview Not Showing Modified Data By Other Form

I am creating one application using visual basic.net and sqlce I have two forms name Form1 and Form2.
I used Form1 to add data to database using OLeDb command I used Form2 to show data in datagridview by using dataset[code]...
Form2 Datagridview show the old data only, it do not show the recently added data by form1. I mean when I build my application datagridview show the data which is already in the database, but it does not show the data which is added by the form1 during run time.
Some one suggested me to fill the datagridview at run time by using OLeDB command. Then I created Form3 to fill the datagridview2 by using OLedb command and datareader and found that Form3 shows the recently(added by Form1 at run time) added data.

I have looked around quite a bit, and nothing seems to answer my question in particular. I have DataGridView in which I add rows and columns dependent on a certain record count of geospatial data that is held in ArcGIS. The data is then passed through to the gridview for editing. So I do not use any databinding methods, rather it is a very manual process. I store data into a two-dimensional arrays, which indexes are based off of those certain data record counts. After the loops are complete, the data should be stored in each cell dependent on index. The very last row that was populated is populated perfectly, yet the other 72 (or so) rows are blank. Okay I have everything working as it should but when I first start up the data doesn't show up in the datagridview until I enter another record. It seems to be at the End Sub part of the button click Enter Record.This is what I have at form load event.

I'm looking to display some data taken from an Access database. It's just a table of data but all of Visual Basic DataGrid stuff seems too...bland and businessy. I want something that looks really attractive and would be suitable for a game (a sports management one). I'm using some Krypton Controls and even though there is a DataGridView in there, again it's not what I'm looking for. I could just have a listbox for each column of data and that would allow me to customize the style completely, but it would be a bit fiddly working out sorting and stuff (even though I reckon I could do).

I have a single form with a datagridview on it showing values from an oracle database. I am trying to set up a way of detecting if the row/column I click on is empty or not, just as a little exercise. I have so far got this:

The message going into lbl2 shows the co-ordinate values of any box I click in but as you can see with the IF statement below I am trying to see if the system can detect whenever I click in a value that is empty (null or ''). When I run my form and populate the list with a column of names I can click in 0, 0 cell and I get a message saying the 'Box is not empty' as above.
But when I click in any of the next boxes e.g. (1,0) (2,0) etc I get this:
'Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index'
Pointing to this line of
If Not DataGridView1.Item(r, c).Value Is Nothing Then
Not sure what this means at all. I am under the impression that my piece of code is gathering the value of the item depending on the co-ordinate values. so why should this fail? What index/collection is VB talking about?

I have a modified button control with a string array in it. I am having trouble sending the string array to the form with the modified button on it. Anyone know what i can do? The form uses a arrayList to hold the buttons since they are made at runtime.

- i have a DataGridView (DGV) whose datasource is a DataTable (not BindingSource).
the DGV is used to sort the datatable before splitting the fields into different textboxes.
i can add/delete record from the DGV and the Database is modified accordingly. but it seems that i can append an existing record in the DGV thru the textboxes but the changes are not made to the database.

I have a DataGridView which populates from an SQL query just fine in default mode
using these table names

I have edited the column headers and set the column names to the same values as my table names yet the data is not showing in form load I have set datagridview.AutoGenerateColumns = False I know the data is there if I delete datagridview.AutoGenerateColumns = False then the data is shown with the default headings?

Every time I modify something on a form (add or delete controls , modify their colors etc) , when I debug the program (with the Play button), I get a message saying: The file C:........MyForm.vb cannot be modified at this time .
Why is this happening? I have noticed that the only way to bypass this problem is to save before debugging , but that is not convenient because I don't want to save something that I haven't decided yet. One more thing that I have observed is that this only happens in projects that have been created with the Upgrade Wizard (from VB6). This never happens in new projects. Does anyone know why is this happening ?

I'm have a data management program. I've fixed everything in it, except when I run my Insert or update commands on a different computer I've installed it on, JIT tells me that the collection has be modified, it then gives me the option to continue or quit. I know it's been modified, the user knows it's been modified, how do I get rid of that?

Scenario: VB2010 express + Sql Server 2008 express.
I have a master/detail form where I can modify a record. With VB 2010, I use the new Table Adapter Manager which handles all Updates/Deletes against the database inside a Transaction. Question is that before I update the modified record (only the master one), I need to insert it in another table (history table). My question is how I make both insert and update inside the same Transaction. By code? Using Stored Procedure?

I have 2 forms: editISI.vb AND plan.vb.A screenshot(for clarity)can be found here: url..The sequence is as follows(when editISI is loaded):
1. On DGV.rowHeader.click, plan.show() -> plan.vb pops up.
2. I select a Plan Type -> Plans Available pops up.
3. I select a Plan Available -> Plan Description is shown in the label below.I now have all the information that i want to insert into the selected row in my DGV.
4. I click Button 1.
I want to insert the selected info from my listboxes/label(on plan.vb) into the selected row of the DGV(on editISI.vb)

I have 5 combo boxes that need to show the same list of items that come from a single dataset table. I have managed to bind the datatable to the combo boxes no problem at all.. but when I run the application and select an item from one of the combo boxes all the others change to the item I selected. After some research I believe that this problem is something to do with using the one datasource so I have tried assigning the dataset datatable to 2 different variables and used them as datasources for 2 of the comboboxes but the same still happens.
A work around to this I can see is to call the same methods and SQL select statements 5 times over to get individual datasources for each combo box but this doing that sounds crazy to me. how I can get around this easily? Code snippet below shows 2 combox boxes and their datasources. I'm using VS2005, .Net 2

my problem is when I enter a new record in the grid that belongs to the master table and enter a detail to that data the data of the new master record is saved but not it's detalis but when I enter new details for old master record the save is done well
how I can enter an new record for master table and enter a detail for it and save without loosing detail data

Have a unbound Datagridview with first column set as a checkbox and second column just has text.When adding a row the checkbox does not show, what am I doing wrong.Code to add Row:

The code that adds the rows also saves to a file and then there is seperate code to load datagridview at the start of the programme.If I close and reopen programme it displays the checkboxes.

With this project, I created a SQL Server DB with related Dataset and DataTable a while ago with about 10 columnsWith the code below, I fill those columns with values in a new row and add to the datatableThe datatable is bound in a datagridview and all has worked fine until I tried to add a new column to the dataset/table. After adding the new column and rebinding the datagridview to the updated table, the DGV now shows the new column, but the data for that column fails to show up in the DGV.

For a class project I'm supposed to write a program that requests a team as input and displays the players from that team in the first column. The players should be sorted alphabetically by their last name, and if they have the same name they should be sorted by first name accordingly. My program compiles and I'm fairly certain that I've done most of it correctly. The second column should be filled with the batting average of the corresponding player from the left column.
My problems are as follows:
1) I can't get the DGV output to show correctly, it posts the player's name with the batting average of that player in the following downward cell.
2) I'm not sure how to further use the .Split method to separate the first and last name after already separating the name from team/at bats/hits, and can't find any info regarding this topic. Also, I can't figure out how to sort in reverse, I've only seen the Ascending and Descending options so far for sorting.
3) Is the way I've figured the batting average the most efficient/correct way, or is there another better way?

just looking for a bit of help from anyone.
