I am developing a .Net application that populates a checklist by querying the directories inside a "base" directory (this part already accomplished). The purpose is to show these directories and allow the user to "check off" the directories they want to delete, and then click a button to delete just those directories (this is the part I'm stuck at).My checklist populates, but how would I go about deleting just the directories that get checked?There is one more thing. I started editing an existing code (basicaly to learn vb) without any real previou experience. Well let's get to the point; I have a form that gathers data from db ordering by user ID (on click count). I have one DataGridView with a list of user, some have data in db, some have not. I came so far that if I CLICK on a user that have data, all data is dissplayed in 6 dinamyc textboxes. If user has no data inly first (emty) row with 6 dinamyc textboxes is created.
Then I have a button that simultaneously adds a row of dinamyc textboxes bellow and multiplyies textbox04 (name is clickcount & 4) and textbox05 and displays the result in textbox06. I want to add a messagebox that shows if textbox04 & 05 are empty and in that case exits sub. Of course if they are not empty, their sum should be multiplyed in textbox06 (on 2 decimal places exact) Here is my code so far:

I have a web page with 5 checkboxes and 2 textboxes per checkbox. When the user checks one or more checkboxes the corresponding textboxes become enalbed for UI. I need to insure that the input for the textboxes is an integer-that I will do with a validators. There is a gridView on the same page. There are 4 columns in the grid. The minimum number of rows enabled are 2 and the maximum are 26. The UI for the grid's textbox input is numbers. Those numbers have to be equal to or less than the total. How do I validate UI of numbers(integers) into the grid's dynamically generated textboxes and then add the total and compare it to the alloted total? I prefer to do this with the code behind - using VB.NET - rather than with ASP.NET or absolutely not javascript.

I'm just getting back into programming after a few years break and I'm a little clueless as to how I would achieve a small part of a project to get my back into the swing of things.Basically we have a command that sets what the machine does at a certain time of the day. This command has a limit of 8 steps and always has to equal 1440 (24hrs).An example of this command would be: 001*A*480*B*60*C*600*A*300
So this would do..
"A" during 00:00-08:00
"B" till 09:00
"C" till 19:00
"A" till 24:00
I can do the easy part i.e. split them up but I would like someway of dynamically creating another text box if they dont add up to 1440 (I am okay with doing dynamic text boxes and have the findcontrol stuff i guess its just updating the x and y axis on the boxes below so it looks neat?)

View 14 RepliesI'm trying to create Command Buttons dynamically, but clicking the button in question doesn't seem to raise the corresponding CommandButton_Click event. I noticed that in the examples on SO a property is set for Button.OnCommand as well as the CommandName and CommandArgument but it isn't an option in intellisense.(code below without the OnCommand), is it accessed in some other way - if so, why do the examples I've found all show it as .OnCommand?
EDIT: Further to help, I have added the handler however the event is still not firing. The buttons reside in an UpdatePanel and are rebuilt on every postback (along with the handler). I have created a simplified example of what I'm doing which is shown below If the button event fires, it writes "EVENT FIRED" to the txtTestFired Textbox - suffice to say I have never seen that.
