I would like to use the WebRquest Class in Visual Basic to get the Inner Text or Inner HTML of a specific element in the requested web page.For instance, if the webpage contains an element with the id ="label1" and has inner text ="hello" then I should use the WebRquest to extract the inner text of the specified element and not the source of the whole page. Note that I do know the alternative solution , which is using the Web Browser Control . But unfortunately this is unsuffiecent for my application.

I have a number of rewrite rules for a lot of things that I did in IIS7, like removing trailing slashes, canonnical URLs, lowercase lettering, and such. IIS altered my web.config, and everything works fine on the website, like it should. But in the Visual Studio web.config, the opening < rewrite > statement is underlined in blue, and at the bottom of VS, it says that the element 'system.webServer' has invalid child element 'rewrite'. But this is how IIS made it. I didn't do this manually. Should I be concerned with this VS error, or should I just leave as be, since it's working how it should work? I making a webpage with the help visual basic. I wanted to put a flv video in it and i used flash control for asp.net [URL]. I made the player in flash told it to download the video from the sever. Now when i put the player on the webpage and put the webpage on the sever it cant play the video. But when i just pres the the player which is in swf format it works. It can download the video. But when i put the player on my webpage it cant.

I have a camera with a LiveView function (images aren�t snapped, but they are directly sent to my computer), which I managed to connect with VB.net, so I have got the image in a picture box on my form.The next thing I want to do, is to gather 3 spots from the image... The spots are all red, something very similar to #FF0000 (it is a camera + lights, etc... some tolerance needed). So, can anyone help me here?
I think the working "check list" could be something like this:
- Get red, green and blue channels separated
- Change green and blue into gray scale (100% blue / green = black, 0% b / g = transparent)
- Put these b / g both into 50% alpha and put them over the red (which means where is both green and blue = black, only one of them = 50% alpha black, none = transparent)
- Somehow select the areas with most red
- Get center of these areas - my points
