I have a WebBrowser Control in my VB.NET application. Now the it browses through many URLs (may be 10 - 20) and I want that each of the page HTML saved in text file. Now the thing is that when I write the HTML of page in file, it does not write the HTML of current page rather than the initial one because it calls the event before even the page is loaded.
How can I wait until the page is completely loaded before calling any event?
I tried the following code but it doesn't works.

wait for the document to be loaded before moving to the next line?
I am trying to test the Forward and Backwards capabilities.. but if you do the following:

It doesn't run the DocumentLoaded or the Navigated() event until it is to late. To run integrated tests I would need to either wait for the result.. Or does the URI even get loaded at all if the Control is not visible?
I need my webbrowser to go to the page and wait for it to load so the bot can continue for example:

But what happens is that the loop runs a few times then it errors on the setattribute line (line 19 above) with
NullRefrenceException was unhandled
And I have a feeling that it is not loading the page fully before it tries to fill in the form.

I would like to use the WebRquest Class in Visual Basic to get the Inner Text or Inner HTML of a specific element in the requested web page.For instance, if the webpage contains an element with the id ="label1" and has inner text ="hello" then I should use the WebRquest to extract the inner text of the specified element and not the source of the whole page. Note that I do know the alternative solution , which is using the Web Browser Control . But unfortunately this is unsuffiecent for my application.

I am aware of the form1.Show() and form1.Hide(), is there anyway that I can load a form on random. for e.g, lets say I have form1, form2, form3, form4.I want the order of the forms to be shown in random order.
View 4 RepliesI have a .net 4 form application. On a button click event, I want to open a form that has a GIF image in a webbrowser control, that says please wait. Then it opens a second form that has a datagridview that is being populated from a SQL query. Then I just hide the wait form. The reason I have resorted to this method is that sometimes it takes a while to display the results from with datagridview depending on what the user selected previously. The issue that I am having is the wait form displays but the GIF does not show up. If I make the application wait by using the following code the GIF show up like it supposed to until the timer runs out. At that point the image stops moving but is still present.

My original intent was to use the show method to display the results form and then hide the previous form, but sometimes the previous form would close before I could display the results form.

View 2 RepliesI have a project with many forms on it, some of them are dialog forms, some of them are mdi children of my master form. What I need to do is when a user press the ESC button on his keyboard to dispose the form that is working on. either is mdi or dialog form. I know that I can use the event of the form key down and then check the key code if is the esc to dispose the form, but this is not I looking for since I will have to pass from all my forms and create that event. Is there any other way when my master form is load to create my own event for any form load event? And trigger it from there to assigne my custom code for ESC key. So I will not have to pass from all the forms to create that event.

I designed a application on vb.net 2005. Some of the forms in this application has databindings controls. Now when such forms loads it takes some time. I want a splash screen containg "Please wait" message to appear till the form loads and the wait splash screen would be shown for every several forms in the application not only before the start up form.

I tried using MyForm2_Load, MyForm2_Activated and MyForm2_Shown but the checkbox checked state of the second form always changes the checkbox in first form. The code below works if I check the checkbox in either form, the other changes to match it. The problem occurs only when MyForm2 is first loaded. How can I get it to work the way I want it?
