How to show a specific part of web page in visual basic form or in webbrowser?
this is problem for someone but like my problem.I am creating a application,at present my application is in development stage My app has a web browser control and a button the web browser will load you tube videos in the web page.i need to do display the video but i like to skip the other parts of the web page.this means showing video player on the web page and skipping the other parts

I'm trying to make an application which will log me into a site and read the text of the site and display a certain part of that text in my form. I'm stuck at the login, its a .php page with 2 text boxes, 1 check box and 1 button.Is there any way to manipulate those objects by using controls in my form?

I am trying to make a program which outputs an Invoice Number, which consists of the first 3 letters of a person's first name and the last 3 digits of their zip code. The user enter their first and last name, then enters their city, state, and zip such as:
Name: Billy Jones
City, State, Zip: Chicago, Illinois 42349
Therefore, the invoice would look like:
Invoice: Bil349
I can get the first 3 letters of the first name fine using the substring function, but I have been stumped on how to get past all of the text to get the last 3 digits of the zip code entered.

now, in my code, i also have if ex = certain error. i'd like it to go back to the top of the try. reason for not letting it do its thing is, i am wanting it to retry it, under the same item. So, is there a way to goto a portion of the code.

I need to navigate to a specific webpage like webbrowser1.navigate("http://samplepage.co") This wegpage is somehow password protected. I know the password and the username. With a normal httprequest and response I could easily create the network credentials and get the code.
I need a way to display this page within the webbrowser with the credentials: Username and Password. The user should not enter the password and the username because somehow they are entered before and stored. Do you know any way to do so?

I'm building a vb project using vb 2008 and I am trying to get a specific data from the source of a webpage. I am now trying to have the vb project access the below source of the webpage [URL] and retrieve the word "Dublin" from the code from the following line:

The word "Dublin" should be stored in the string villagename1 (I will use that string several times later in the project) and it should at NO time open a IE page as to make it as invisible as possible.

I am creating a simple researcher application to access and store data. As of today it workes by entering a number into a text field and hit enter/button. The result then shows up in a non-menu webbrowser window. What i would like it to do was to exclude the web browser window, and instead show in a popup window inside the application. This should be rather easy, here's what i think might be a problem. I want only to show specific lines from the webpage, not the whole page.

I have used .NET and ShDocVw for years to grab data off webpages without any issues I couldn't overcome. This website has me beat though. It seems like such as easy task to grab the titles and other information off a library search page, but I can't see the data to be able to grab it. Usually, I just look in the DOM, but the data wasn't there. I did a view source, but the data wasn't there.

I have a puzzleing situation where only 120 of 151 colors defined in ColorList(i) display.
In the following code, btnsetup_click assigns 151 colors to a matrix of rectangles in a picture box. When 1 of these rectangles is clicked, it assigns the color to btnPen or btnBrush, depending on a left or right mouse click. Hovering over the rectangle displays the name of the color in label 'ColorOver'.
This all works fine except only the colors 0 to 119 from the array are actually displayed in the picture box. Yet, if I hover or click over the missing colors, the color name is displayed and the button is assigned the color that should be displayed.

I am having a issue when navigating to a URL that requires the user to log-in before proceeding. The system we are logging into takes care of going to the log-in page and then back to the page I specified. But when I navigate (webbrowser.navigate = ...) to the web page it locks up the form until the method is complete. But I want to wait in that method until after the user logs in and then the window is redirected, and I want to make sure they got there. I am going to need to do this multiple times during the program. Is there another method I should use? I would prefer to use the embedded web window in VB2005.

i am doing asp.net project now.. in that one module contains the hotel details. in that one textbox for entering hotel name.. when a user try to enter the hotel name, list of hotels should display below the text box ( for ex: if user enter the letter 'a' then hotel lists which starting with 'a' should display in the listbox below ).
