With listTasks.PointToClient(New Point(e.X, e.Y)) you could use listTasks.GetItemAt(p.X, p.Y) to get the ListView item you're over. Is there something like this for Groups? Or perhaps a better way to determine what group is the target of a drag-drop?
I am trying to set up a listview where I can reorder the items, but no matter what I do the item i drag and drop goes to the end of the listview. I searched and tried to fix this issue but I just can't seem to find a fix.

I have this list view (which is working fine) and i want to find an efficient way of populating it in a specific order, ie by date, by identity etc.
I know i can use linq but as i understand this is inefficient. If m_batchs is a large list of objects then i will looping through this list many, many time (as linq behind the scenes loops through the object collection).
How can I add all the items of a specific column of a listview. For example I had a listview of a class like:

I just want to add all the numbers of age column so I can find the total sum of ages of the students. I want, when I clicked my button It makes my textbox's text = 68 for this example.
I am trying to figure out a way to include the listview's tag field when dragging one listview's subitems into another listview. I am hoping someone here has experience with this. My Listview drag code is below - the two listviews that I am dragging subitems into or from are LV1 and LV3. Also, this is being done in Visual Basic 2008 and the project is a windows application.
how i can get a list of users who are members of a group in Active Directory. A vb.net example would be great. I can list all users in AD, but cannot get just the users in a group.
Also do anybody know of a really easy tutorial on LDAP queries with vb.net examples.
I'm simply trying to create a small tool, to create a username / password / OU group, and a few properties on a new user from a form with a few text boxes, and a button.I know how to connect to LDAP, though i'm having a problem getting this done.

i made a media player program and i am having many problems! the main issue is that i have a listview that displays music playlist, how can i get it to navigate to the next item after the clicked one is over that way users don't have to click on the next one to continue their playlist?

I am creating an application with html using vb as the back end. Microsoft Visual Studio is the application I am using.I have two drop down boxes...one called department, the other program.
