Edit/Update Button For Data Grid

I'm trying to create a Library System in VB 2010 which is connected to a 2007 MS Access Database manually. I was successful to create a "Search" button where it displays content from the database based on the user's entries on several text boxes.
The result is shown on a Data Grid which I set to allow Editing on it. My problem now is I can't find a way to create an "Edit" button. My idea is basically allow the user to search, let the result be shown on the data grid, edit the data grid, and click the Edit button to save the updated records back to the database.
My question is it possible to create such button? Here is the code that I use to connect to the data base for the Search button.

i have connected my SQL SERVER 2005 database to vb.net and program is capable to show the database in the data grid view. but what i want is when i change the data in the data grid view and click onto update button,changes i made should be saved in database so when i execute the application again i should be able to see the updated database in the data grid view.

I have a form that adds new contacts. New contacts are added by pressing an appropriate button and they appear as an entry in the list on the form. I try now to add an edit button that will edit existing entries.User will select a given entry on the list and press edit button and will be presented with an appropriate form (AddContFrm).Right now it simply adds another entry with the same title. Data binding should be an extremely simple thing to manage but I can't find a SIMPLE solution to the following problem.
I have two forms
Form1 contains a 4x4 MSFlexGrid (unfortunately an unmanaged COM object but I can merge cells, which I can't do with a managed Datagrid)
Form2 contains other controls which change the data in the Flexgrid.
I connect the two with a Public 4x4 array. Form2 changes the data in this array. I can update the grid data by reading the array. But how do I bind the Grid to the array so that it auto-updates - which is the whole point of binding isn't it?

i'm populating data grid view on the basis of some query string, on runtime, but the problem is that i'm unable to edit the contents of it. i've check the Enable Editing in its tasks panel. I don't want the user to add or delete any record so i've uncheck both of them. this is the code i'musing to update the DGV on runtime, can anyone of you modify this code so that editing can be done.

I am trying to use the combobox to update/edit/view the saved data (in contact form) from sql server.
My Load_Combobox (in contact form):

The problem now is when I saved a record into sql server (EG Technical Manager) and try to view back the saved data, it always show the first item (Director) in combobox. But, my sql server has saved is "Technical Manager" for that saved record.

I'm using an array to populate a datagrid. I want a password protected button to be able to clear the data from the grid. I thought this would be fairly easy but so far it's not working. The following code doesn't generate any errors but the array still has data in it.

I have data grid view with checkbox as unbound column and a button at the bottom and when button is clicked i want to check all rows in the datagrid view i.e check the checkbox if it is not checked for all rows in datagridview. I have an App where I'd like to be able to edit any type (font, colour, point etc.) at run time and use any of the .Net default type editors. (e.g., font/ colour picker).
Rather than re-invent the wheel, I decided to use the property grid control.
If I pass an object of, say font, to the grid, it lists all the fields separately, with no option to open the font picker.[code]...

This is a VB .NET application where we are showing the output of a SQL statement in a Datagrid view. using .NET 2005.We need to get the seperators of the headers on the grid control to be the same colors as the GridColor on the form. See the picture below:We've tried looking through all of the properties of the DataGridView control, and found some interesting things that looked promising such as the DataGridViewAdvancedHeaderStyle, and DataGridViewHeaderBorderStyle, but none of it seems to allow you to change the colors on it.Does anyone know how to do this without remaking the entire thing with a GDI+ control?
