I have an application that is primarily developed on an x86 machine. I recently checked the app out of TFS onto a Win 7 x64 machine for development. However, every single form level resource file shows up in the error list with an entry like the following:

What I find interesting is that my application level resource files aren't showing the same error. Plus, these are just XML files. They aren't applications in any way.
I'm currently working under VB2010 beta 2 on both machines. Obviously, with a bunch of errors, the app won't compile on the x64 machine.
I had a program going along swimmingly until I tried to change the name for form1 to something more meaningful. Now It is all messed up and I am getting the dreaded resx error. Is there any hope in salvaging this?

The line of code where I put "*WIN32 EXCEPTION LINE* keeps running into an error(Win32 Exception was unhandled; Access is denied). Here is the full error description:

If you go into c:windowssystem32 the program will hang for about 4 mins then if you go back to windows then back to system32 you will get the error.
win32 handle that was passed to icon is not valid or is the wrong type.
I saw in a youtube video to get SQLserver 2005 management tool express, But I can't install it, I get an error saying "This is an invalid Win32 Application", Also, Do I need like a web hosting server? Or any kind of server?

vbc : error BC30136: Error creating Win32 resources: Error reading icon '"Recycle Bin Empty.ico"' -- The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
This icon is the Application icon which is in the same directory of the project.vbc is started with /win32icon:"Recycle Bin Empty.ico" parameter.Don't know why MSBuild can't reach the file.

I have an application that starts one of two external CAD applications depending upon the extension of a file in a ListView. I have been able to start up the application to view the file selected without a problem. I also have a seperate print click event for printing the file that opens the viewer application in the background and prints the file. This works perfectly for one of the CAD viewers but when I select a file that requires the other viewer application to print I get a Win32 exception and an error message stating that the file is not associated with any application and it cannot be opened. This of course is rediculous as it opens fine in the "View File" click event that opens the viewer to check the drawing.
One rather strange observation is that the CAD viewer that does print the associated file will launch the other CAD viewer application (that is associated with the other file extensions) when the "View" click event is handled even though I had not incuded the code to execute the process to start the viewer for that type of file. I realize this rather convoluted and may lie in the ProcessStartInfo arguments that I pass to the application.

How to migrate .RESX file when changing .NET Framework... I was changing the .NET framework from 4.0 to 3.5 (because of an incompatbility we discovered in a third party dll) and everything went fine except some .RESX file got messed up. I was starting to fix them manually but is there some tool I can use for this?

My problem is that no matter how I try to unit test this, the test will fail when the SetError is hit with a:"Could not load file or assembly 'App_GlobalResources' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
I've a very strange problem with the localization and the default language resx file.I can add a string entry in the file with no problem. After moving or resizing any of the object in the form, the default resx file, resets itself and then my entry is deleted.Has anyone had the same problem??Unfortunately I can't attach a test project I made, 'cause of some security policies of my network. I am getting this error in my VB.NET code. Anyone have ideas on what it could be or how to troubleshoot. I am using SQL Server 2008 and this error doesn't happen consistently. Looks like it happens completely randomly and doesn't seem to be originating from my code:
