Load Powershell Module Via .NET Code?
May 18, 2012I have to call PS commands from a VB.NET program. This works fine if I'm calling standard PS commands, but if I have to call a command that lives in a 3rd party module I can't seem to make it work. At the PS console I can type Import-Module MyModule and then I can call the commands in that module. I tried the following but it doesn't work, I still can't access my command from within the module:

DotNetNuke Module Page Load Fires Twice
Jul 11, 2011My module's Page_Load event is firing twice for each "actual" load. On the initial load both loads' Page.IsPostBack property is false.I've renamed Page_Load to Module_Load to verify the name wasn't an issue. I've made sure the method isn't handling both Me.Load and MyBase.Load, which has been the case in the past.The only thing I'm doing out of the ordinary is that my module is inheriting from an intermediate base class. Error Unable To Open Module File
May 17, 2012I'm getting this error message when I try and run my program:

I have run this program man times before. I just added a Windows Form InputCrossForm.vb to my project. When I dbl click on the error message I get a message box title bar "Microsoft Visual Basic 2010 Express" with message "The definition of the object is hidden." Not sure what this means nor what to do to fix it.

Basically, when you click on a function icon within the software application it throws up the following message in box:"An unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt continue. This happens on two systems; Windows XP SP2 or SP3 - .net framework 1.1 & 2.0 & all necessary patches etc installed. Just can't seem to get around it. What is more frustrating is I have a test rig that has exactly the same software attributes & it works fine on that.I have even tried full clean O/S install with no other applicationms installed & get the same eratta as above.

We were advised to remove Windows update KB960715 which we did and it worked fine. However, it has just stopped working again for the same reason and that update is no longer installed.

(Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020003 (DISP_E_MEMBERNOTFOUND) )" performing the following scenario:- Opened a sample VS 2010 WPF project that I receiveved from a co-worker (Project compiles, and run on his machine)I tried to open project properties (Project --> Properties)The project properties panel/window didn't open, all it had was an error symbol (red/white X) and the error message above(HRESULT: 0x80020003).I am unable to view niether the designer window nor the code window (no messages are reported) but the pane where the code/design shoud display is empty, all you can see is the background color.

File Verification Glitch, And It Was Working Last Night
Mar 20, 2012I am just down right confused right now... I made a slight modification to my games saving system, and it worked before this modification... I only changed "one" thing in the saving and loading of the save file system.
now it went from working when trying to verify the save data, to throwing this error when I enter the username of "test" and the password of "test...
there is not a save file for that combination of data, and prior to the save/load system edits, it would realize that, and throw a message box error that I made for that senario... but now, it does this when trying to load the human class. that save file that it is trying to load and verify that does not exist is supposed to be "test the human"

it is supposed to throw my message box stating that there is no file in that combination, and the edits that I made only write a description of what each line of code is in the game... I had also made a variable called "nulldata" that takes those lines of text, and keeps them out of the games loaded data, so for each string of text that I added, it is basically rendered useless upon the save file being loaded...if you enter valid save information, then it loads just fine... so I am just plain confused right now.
