I made an app in vb.net express edition after publishing there are many files in published folder, my question is if a user removes any of files in the published folder or replaces it with other files and runs the app the app must show an error is it possible?

What we want to do is add a handler (AddHandler Pane, AddressOf MethodName) on the mainwindow and throw the event in the Pane. When we want something to change on a collection in the mainwindow, we throw that event in the Pane.
My question is if the pane is removed from the panegroup (doesn't exist anymore), does that handler still live on the mainwindow?
I have been writing a security class in my application, I am able to encrypt the string correctly and without error. However every time when I try to decrypt this string again, i get an error with this as it returns the following Padding is invalid and cannot be removed.

I have found simular issues on web, and most of them say that the IV is not the same the encrypted version, but I can confirm that the IV is the same as they both access the exact same variable.

When I try to decrypt these 16 bytes I get the message "Padding is invalid and cannot be removed.". (The base stream of the CryptoStream is a MemoryStream based on just these 16 bytes).

What causes this message to appear. Should'nt the new version over write any previously installed version on a machine. Although in this case no other version has been installed. I have a windows form app. project and when I start the debugger my form with datagridviews works fine, but when I publish the application the exe file does not work. When I double click the exe file, I get two small empty windows and the second one has a ok button on it, when I click it both windows disappear. I work with vista 64 bit and I have made another small editform which works fine.

When I encrypt a file it gives me no error, but when I decrypt a file it gives me this error: Padding is invalid and cannot be removed. In this line:

I don't understand why, because I'm using the same IV and the same key, I've even checked the generated hash, and to me, it seems the same.

View 2 RepliesWhen I publish my program I get no errors, and then when I install it on another machine it says it gives me the error that it can't read the txt file that it stores data in. If I hit continue it also fails to read the database. The database file is stored in the bin/debug folder and I told my program to include it when I first added the data connection. Anything I can do to have these included so my program can run on other machines?

the first problem is getting my program to load rss feeds from other websites mostly here:http:[url..... im trying to load it using the webbrowser. i want the rss feed to load right onto the form. im positive that its possible. i have the imports system.net in my code already for xml documents.the second is i cant get my program to write into a file that is several folder deeper into the bin folder.[code]......
