I am looking to be able to add items to a combox in a gridview at runtime. The only code that I have found is for an editable datagrid combobox not one that items can be added on runtime. Is anyone now of a free datagridview control that does this?

View 1 RepliesI have added a textbox and a combobox into the form. There are 2 buttons as Add and Remove. Everything works fine here but the problem is after addig/removing (using add/remove button) new items into the combobox, when I close it, the new items added/removed are gone. I need to save the new items added to the combobox during close. I can understand I have to create a Application Setting which will save the new items added to combobox upon closing. But I don't know which code I need to use? Below are the currently used code of this project.

Now let me come to my scenario aka problem..I have 2 dataviewgrids in my WINDOWS APPLICATION FORM (VB.net).The first grid populates some data from the SQLSERVER 2005 DB.When I click on any cell of the first grid, my second grid shows up and populates with the data corresponding to the cell which I have clicked in the grid 1.This is working perfect and so far so good.In the second grid I have 3 combobox columns and some textbox columns..The three combobox columns in this grid are also populated from the DB only usng datasets and datasource.In the first Combobox Column if I select one value, then the corresponding values are filled into the other textboxcolumns.This is also working good.The other 2 comboboxcolumns are also populated from database using different datasets..
Am about to add a master data ( i.e data into the first grid).it got added and after that a msgbox pops up sayn u must add data into the second grid as well.so the user is adding the data in the second grid.(all works except the new requirement).he added something into the first row by selecting the comboboxcolumns and also editing the other columns in the first row.(he havent saved this row.This will happen when he clicks the save button in the form not in the grid)he goes into the second row .Now here he should not see the item from the combobox1 which he has selected in row1.

Now what I want is that when I choose a beginstation, the chosen station will be gone in the combobox of the endstation so that I can't pick the same endstation as the beginstation.Is there a way to do this? I have a form in my vb.net application used to take the data about the returned stock. The form contains two comboboxes. One, named combobox5, contains invoice numbers and the other, named combobox3, contains party codes. Both the comboboxes are pre_loaded using sqldataadapter.
Now what i want is to change the party code in combobox3 when the invoice number is changed in combobox5. Elaborating it further, When Stock is issued the party code is stored along with the invoice number to keep track of to which party was the stock issued. Now when stock is returned i want to keep track that which party has returned the stock and i want that the party code should be automatically selected when the invoice number is changed and it should be what is stored in the database against that particular invoice number....

What's the best way to dynamically remove method calls at runtime? Essentially what I'd like to do is pass a parameter to my application. Let's call the parameter level. Depending on the value of level, I'd like to essentially remove all the calls that have higher levels. I have the following but was wondering if there were a simpler/cleaner way to remove the calls:
Ideally I'd really like to write something like:
Log5("message")
And just have Log5 work or not call if it doesn't exist. My goal is to actually remove the call. The overhead for calling level 5 logs that test and return is fairly high and I rarely use it.

This works fine, but now I'm trying to remove them when the contextmenu closes. I've tried several events (popupclose, disposed) , but nothing seems to work. Perhaps someone know how it actually works. The code I use to remove a shortcut is simply:

I do have a customized treeview which inherits from treeview. The customized treeview offers - amongst other - the functionality to automatically check/uncheck the child and parent nodes according to the selected node.To do so, I use (or mabye abuse?) the AfterCheck-event of the treeview in the class where the inherited treeview is customized. I temporarily remove the AfterCheck-Event in the event-procedure to avoid it getting fired when I programmatically check/uncheck the checkboxes of the treeview. Works fine so far, only problem I see: if another programmer wants to use the customized tree view and tries to make use of the After-Check-Event, he'll get caught in an infinit loop, because his own After-Check-Event (he added himself to the treeview) was not removed and keeps on firing every time a checkbox is automatically checked/unchecked.
How can I remove ALL methods linked to AfterCheck-Event without knowing which method someone added to the treeview-control? My guess is to use reflection and to get the underlying delegate of the AfterCheck-Event by using the .GetInvocationList somehow - but I was not able to make it work.
