Save Setting Of ComboBox After Add / Remove New Items By User?

I have added a textbox and a combobox into the form. There are 2 buttons as Add and Remove. Everything works fine here but the problem is after addig/removing (using add/remove button) new items into the combobox, when I close it, the new items added/removed are gone. I need to save the new items added to the combobox during close. I can understand I have to create a Application Setting which will save the new items added to combobox upon closing. But I don't know which code I need to use? Below are the currently used code of this project.

I am doing a alarm system project which allows a user to select a particular alarm and test the sound. It will also enable the user to save the alarm as the prefered type. So that the next time the alarm rings, it will be that tone which the user has selected.i have already done the select alarm button, play and stop button, but i am having trouble with the save button. Well currently I'm needing to store various settings, strings, integers, items, etc, within the program settings. So far this has gone without a snag and is working as planned except for one thing, Comboboxes. I have browsed through the various types of settings I can save to and the closest is a "System.Collection.Specialized.StringCollection", however VB is throwing up an error saying that:

Using a DataGridViewComboBoxColumn, the goal is to make the ComboBoxes accept user's new items and also the possibility of choosing items that are already present.I'm aware of using EditingControlShowing event of the DataGridView to change the DropDownStyle of the DataGridViewComboBoxEditingControl at run time to allow this, but I'm wondering if this can be done at a lower level.
What I'm doing now is extending DataGridViewComboBoxColumn, DataGridViewComboBoxCell and DataGridViewComboBoxEditingControl, hoping to change the EditingControl's DropDownStyle in the moment I instantiate it. So far, no luck.The debugger shows the right assignment is being executed, but nonetheless, the DropDownStyle is popping at the EditingControlShowing (using the event for debugging purposes) as DropBoxList, not DropBox, which is the intent.

I have on my form a combobox and a checkbox.What I want to do is when the user checks the checkbox all the values contained in combobox will be selected. So a multi-select for all items of combobox when the checkbox is checked.I tried this:

What i'm attempting to do is have several textboxes where the user input's there information and a seperate text box to give there input a name so it can be sent to a combobox and saved with my.settings so when the program loads or the user needs the textboxes populating they can select the name in the combobox and it fill out the textboxes.

In our projects we use setting variables to store user setting for the applications. Moreover, with every latest version of the applications, we upgrade these variables to retain user settings.Normally, this works fine, but recently one of my end user reported an error i.e.Configuration System failed to initialize". The error is related to user.config file. Therefore we requested the user to send us his file.After received the folder, we noticed that it contains 3 files (3begfjb.newcfg,3begfjb.tmp and user. config). 3begfjb.tmp is an empty file, while 3begfjb.newcfg and user.config are identical files. We tried to open these files but the data in user.config isn't proper xml rather its unreadable formatted file.Do any you guys had experienced this sort of issue or any ideas how and what may have created these files and corrupted user.config file.

In my VB.net solution I have a form in which I have to choose a beginstation and an endstation. I have to select both from comboboxes. Now what I want is that when I choose a beginstation, the chosen station will be gone in the combobox of the endstation so that I can't pick the same endstation as the beginstation.Is there a way to do this? I've tried a lot with SQL and LINQ queries but it didn't work out :(

I would like someone to show me how you would save the contents of "Listbox1" to a .txt file using the "Save As" Option. I have a form in my vb.net application used to take the data about the returned stock. The form contains two comboboxes. One, named combobox5, contains invoice numbers and the other, named combobox3, contains party codes. Both the comboboxes are pre_loaded using sqldataadapter.
Now what i want is to change the party code in combobox3 when the invoice number is changed in combobox5. Elaborating it further, When Stock is issued the party code is stored along with the invoice number to keep track of to which party was the stock issued. Now when stock is returned i want to keep track that which party has returned the stock and i want that the party code should be automatically selected when the invoice number is changed and it should be what is stored in the database against that particular invoice number....
