What i'm attempting to do is have several textboxes where the user input's there information and a seperate text box to give there input a name so it can be sent to a combobox and saved with my.settings so when the program loads or the user needs the textboxes populating they can select the name in the combobox and it fill out the textboxes.

De Datasource is the information in my combobox. With Databindings I'm trying to bind it to my dataset (or view, that doesn't work either) with clients. Every time I get a NullReferenceExeption. The moment I remove the line cbo.DataSource = dsRelatie.Tables("Relatiesoort"), I don't get an error, but it doesn't work either.
That dataset is filled (I've checked) and also the derived view. The column Relatiesoort exists. What do I have to do to make it possible for my users to choose an item from a combobox and save the selected value to the underlying dataset?
I am creating the items in a combobox in my code behind. I am setting the display member and the value member. Is there a simple way to save user input from MANY controls (textboxes, comboboxes, etc...) to a text file? When I say 'MANY', I am referring to at least 580 textboxes and several dozen comboboxes.
I may be able to accomplish this using the StreamWriter Class, but doing this individually would take quite a long time. I suppose I could also change all text boxes to richTextBoxes and save to .rtf. It seems like this would be even more time consuming.
Surely there is a simpler way to do this 'globally', perhaps with an added single line of code that points (and saves) to a preset or created text.txt file whenever text is added or changed in a textbox or combobox throughout the program.

I have added a textbox and a combobox into the form. There are 2 buttons as Add and Remove. Everything works fine here but the problem is after addig/removing (using add/remove button) new items into the combobox, when I close it, the new items added/removed are gone. I need to save the new items added to the combobox during close. I can understand I have to create a Application Setting which will save the new items added to combobox upon closing. I cannot figure out how to incorporate the number of days into the input box then get it to loop and count the number of times the User inputs in the number of days. Then I have to incorporate it into the equation to get the total distance D = MPH * Hours. What I have right now wil not count up the number of days and locks up after I input one number and will not add anything to the listbox. Because I also have to make sure that they cant add nonnumaric values and the number of hours per day cannot exceed 20. Does anyone have any idea what might be useful. It was thinks of a listview bu i can't see that you can type into that. I'm creating a program and i want it to secretly save when the user clicks on save.
In other words, i have made it so that it saves twice. Once for the user to read (like a fancy copy) and another that the program uses to open up the form.
Currently when pushed, 2 save dialog boxes come up after each other. I don't want this to happen. I want 1 to come up (the user friendly, fancy version) which is the easy part, but i also want the other 1 to save automatically and secretly without asking the user to set the destination.
I am using 3 textbox and one listbox. I am successfully retrieve the data into listbox i want that item selected in a listbox enter the data by textbox once the value input that the selected item of a listbox will change the back color of selected item only.
