Forms :: Count Limit In Listbox?

basic question which i cant figure out is i have a listbox and i total up all the values in it and send it to a text box. but in the listbox i cant have more than 10 items in it i at the moment have a message box telling me how many items i have in the listbox which is simply MsgBox(ListBox2.Items.Count()) when the 10th item is entered i need it to not allow me to enter anymore so i know it needs to go 0-9 but not sure how to implement it.

Is there a way to limit the topmost property? I have two forms and I only want to one form form topmost to only one form. I don't want it to be topmost to all of the windows in my computer.

I am using tooltips to show information that overflows a label. The problem is that when the information is really long it spans the entire width of the screen and is difficult to read, Is there any way to limit the size of the tooltip?I was thinking one way may be to insert linefeeds at points beyond a certain width -- messy, but it would work.

When some one wants to view the "About" form, it's called like this:
createChildForm(New f_about)
But my function doesn't stop them from creating an unlimited number of about windows and I need to put that limit to one form.
For example, I will have a login screen, but I don't want them logging in over and over again in different accounts because my subroutine doesn't stop a form from being created/opened more than once.

Here is the current code I am using to add files and check the number of lines in each file that was selected (file qty). This is also added into a seperate listbox for viewing.

I don't know what is wrong with this code, but it is not detecting when there are no items in the listbox. It ALWAYS returns that there is something in the listbox, even when there is not and keeps erroring on the line of code in BOLD.[code]

I'm using a textbox to supply a filter for the datasouce which is bound to a listbox. It works (mostly) with a few exceptions, one being i was to restrict the height of the listbox to the number of entries (upto a maximum number), so a bit like a combobox (which in effect is what I'm writing). One of the problems is when the number of entries changes there does not seem to be an event raised, although the OnDrawItem is called for the items to be displayed (the displayed ones!) Is there anyway to find out (in a derived listbox) when the number of entries has changed in the datasource?

IntelliSense will generate a little balloon that says 'Public ReadOnly Property Count() I saw the () after Count and thought that meant that was the proper way to code it. So that is what I did. The code seems to work with ...Count() or just ...Count. I was wondering if there is some reason why the parens show up after the description of the Property in IntelliSense.

I have a list of links and need to check some data in it.

now i want to see how many items are processed and how many are still need to process
Example: in a label it must display total count of items and items completed and it must change once a item is finished.

I have a Windows form that has a datagridview on it. I populate it with records from a database. I have a checkbox on each row. Then I have a textbox on the form outside of the datagridview. Each time a checkbox is checked I want to count it and show it in the text box. Each time a checkbox is unchecked I want it to subtract the count.

i have a program im working on that has 68 different buttons on 1 form. each button opens a seperate form. each from opened from the buttons starts with "helmet_" i need a way to only allow one form with that starting name to be open at a time. otherwise you could open all 68 forms at once and that would cause issues.

I have an array of items where i have separated the first two characters, which in my case are ID tags. I have populated my CLBox and the output is like this
AA
Aa
BB

What would the process be to do this, would i need to create a reference list or stringbuilder for all the tags(there is about 3000 tags) or would it be possible to loop through and count the matches. I declared the Tags thinking that i could do something from there.
