I have a border-less window made by this function:

and when is in this state I can't move it... so how can I move the form when is in this condition?
Second Q: how can I forbid the window form not to be re-size-ble and stay within the given dimensions?
I have written a little helper app that mostly does various text operations on a paragraph of text. I am able to select a block of text from the Code Window and drop it onto my VB.NET apps TextBox and complete the text operation. However I am unable to drag and drop the altered text back to the VB Code window Via the DoDragDrop method.

I am trying to make a borderless form so I set the "Form Border Style" property to "None". So then I ran it and could not move it around. How do I overcome this? Btw I already made the close button and etc.

If I minimize the window or drag it "out of the screen" the "inserted" lines will be "cleaned"...
How can I draw them again? OR
How can I draw them in such a way to not lose them after I minimize the window or drag it "out".
I need the whole window to drag when they click and hold an image box. Is there any way to do this? (Example: They move their cursor onto the image click and hold the mouse down then move their cursor. The whole window then moves with it.)
View 2 RepliesHere is a simple code i have put a timer with 4 seconds interval.If i start dragging the form with keeping the mouse button pressed and when the timer tick event fires i am changing the Me.ShowInTaskbar to reverse at that time the mouse looses the capture. Is there any way to keep it draging even after changing the ShowInTaskbar state.

I have done a bunch of research and now have a form that allows the user to select a directory and display the files in a listbox. It works intermittently. The select directory window works when I click the Browse button and it reports that it found a number of files. But they are not in the listbox. When I walk thought the code in DeBug the files are listed.

View 1 RepliesI have two list boxes. A users selects a value from each, clicks a button and the application creates a relationship between the two selected items by saving them in an array and displaying the relationship in a third list box.
What I want to allow is for users to be able to drag a value from one list box and drop it on top of another value. I have the code to capture the value of the item dragged but I don't see how to capture the item that the data is dropped onto.
Is there a way to capture the targeted selected item?
I m doing a touch screen interface, to browser a page I used a webbrowser control, and in order to get ride of the ugly scrollbar, i m trying to use mousedown and mousemove event on the webbrowser to move the page around, it worked but when i m doing it, it select and highlight the content on the web too, how can i stop that?

I need to drag and drop to textbox from tree view. Here while drag and drop to text box i need to add the dragged text to anywhere in the text box which we have already dragged some nodes here.

2)If I draw from wihin a paint event, i can draw on both.However, the paint event has its own issues, most irritatingly the fact that it doesn't draw immedately, but only after going all the way back through a whole chain of calls.anyway that I can draw directly on a borderless form?
I am working on making a borderless form resize, but every time you move the mouse while resizing, it starts blinking until you are done. Is there a smoother borderless resize?

I am trying to build a NOTEPAD/WORDPAD like application with vb.net on visual studio 2008.
I need an option to define and choose (MsWord, or CSS like) paragraphs styles, such as: "heading1", "green quotes", etc.
I am not able to find the Exclude Command in VB 2010 Express. I have no idea which version of Visual Studio it is working with. I've got one 217MB VB 2010 Express file and many 2008 VB Express files with one of them measuring 31 MB. There many other SQL files and .Net Files.

View 6 RepliesI'm trying to make a borderless form. I chose a dark red color as a backcolor and as a transparency key. I made my own dragable title bar, my own close, minimize, maximize and restore buttons and all that stuff. BUT, in order to imitate the Microsoft Windows' style perfectly, I tried to copy that outer glow that Microsoft has:I had to add an outer glow to my form in Photoshop and save it as .PNG. Here's what happened:The dark red became darker under the influence of my outer glow, and it was not considered a dark red anymore. How can I get rid of that?
