This code seems to work ok for dynamically controlling a textbox height. Would like to know if there is a way to have the textbox height auto size to accommodate each entry. Autosize does not appear to be a property of textbox.
ListBox Control With Item Height
Jul 7, 2011I'm using a list box control and I've specified an item height of 25 and DrawMode of OwnerDrawFixed as well as coded up all the necessary ListBox_DrawItem code to get this to work. My problem is when it displays my list all the items are top justified in the list. I want them to be centered and right justified so when the are selected they are in the center of the highlighted box, not at the top of it. Does anyone know how to do this?

What I want to do is move the button down so it still displays just below the GridView when its height is changed.I know I can just set the location of the button, based on the height of the GridView, but is there a way to link the height to the location of the button? Like anchoring the button to the bottom edge of the GridView.

I get the error An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for IgnoredExceptionSection: Could not load file or assembly 'WEB' or one of its dependencies..
What boggles my mind is that this all works fine in my C# console test app after I convert the code from VB.NET using a web utility. However, when I paste the VB code from my web app into my VB.NET console test app, it doesn't work there, either, so it appears to be a C#/VB issue. What am I doing wrong here?

2.when i edit the cell having combo previous selected value is overwritten by first value of combo it should be if i select any value from combo but should not over written default as i click the cell. (edit mode is on click)
3.by pressing enter key cursor should jump to next cell in same row . means navigation should horizontally but should jump to first cell of next row if cell is last cell

May 24, 2011I am trying to add datagridview control in my custom control but i failed.I started creating new project[windows custom control library], added datagridview control on it and also added a property naming "DGVMain" which refers to datagridview control.I compiled it.
While testing i find its properties like visible and other working but when i click on columns property it doesn't work. i.e i cannot add/edit columns into the datagridview of my custom control.
Did i miss any steps or do i need to add some more actions?

Lets assume that row 2 has a data and I inputed the data in row 3, however I change my mind I deleted the data in row 2 and that will leave row 2 blank. Is there a method where I can remove the row 2. The first thing come up on my mind was use a timer wherein it runs all the time.
