I recently stared using GetElementsByTagName in my webbrowser to parse some info off some websites for work after AdamSpeight2008 here suggested it and its been working great so far for what Ive needed. Im having a new situation thought on a site where theres very similar tables one of used inv and one for new and if I use the following code:

So im still learning this GetElementsByTagName method and Im wondering if theres a syntax where I can say basically if its "Total Used Inventory" and "% Listed with Photo" I want that 99% but I keep getting 51% because thats what it is for % Listed with no Photo on the New Inventory table

I've tried so many different things and have searched far and wide but I cannot seem to find an answer for this problem. I am trying to click an update button inside a webbrowser control but RaiseEvent, InvokeMember do not seem to work and I cannot find the right alt using GetElementsByTagName. I am thinking I am having trouble because it is assigned as an input type.

I'm having problems executing this command as a BackgroundWorker. I wrote a license verification program that executes upon loading so I wanted do that in the background so that the program opens up right away and not wait for it to complete execution. The license verification codes work when it directly loads but when I put it in a BackgroundWorker it stalls at this command. WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementsByTagName("input") doesn't seem to execute in BackgroundWorker. I am using VS2008 and SQLite. I have created a database and several tables and am attempting to populate the tables with data from arrays.
The following code (example) works fine but stops after it inserts 30 to 50 records. I am running the VB code in debug mode and when it stops, I press pause to see where it is. It stops on "SQLcommand.ExecuteNonQuery()" and when I press continue (F5) it will insert another 30 to 50 records.
I do not get an error message. Is this a timeout issue? How do I keep the loop running to the end of the array?

We are presently developing an application, let's call it APP1, which uses a SQL Database which have about 800 stored procedures, 600 tables, etc. APP1 was originally created in order to replace another application, APP0, from which we do not have source code but only SQL tables, Stored Procedures, views, etc. Previous programers of APP1 used some DB objects from this same database and added some other objects specific to APP1 because it becomes bigger than APP0. And we do not need APP0 anymore as APP1 does all what we want, and more.
So, now, we are thinking about a way to find out which objects are used by APP1 in order to remove objects which are ONLY used by APP0.What is the best approach to discover all objects used by APP1 without having to open every single class and form?
Once we will have a complete list of these objects, it will be easy to use a program we bought which detects all dependencies for all SQL Objects specified directly from SQL and remove objects which do not return from any dependencies. Any ideas of how I could get this list without having to go through all our program that have many, many, many classes and forms?
Note : I know, in a perfect world, all calls to PSs and tables should be in a DAL but in the case of the application we're presently working on ... this is not our case! Yippy! (sarcastic yippy) ;)
Note 2 : This application is not using any ORM. So all queries are directly using SqlCommand. So any call to any DB objects are in string format.

The remarked area works fine when I'm accessing a specific table. I've successfully inserted the products_model field into the combobox too. The datagridview does show the table names in the db using the SHOW TABLES sql statment, but I'm not understanding how to get this info into the combobox instead.
I wonder if it is possible to find a specific row and specific columns in data base file (Access) . You see , I am using a DataGridView control to show only SOME of the columns (fields) of a table from an Access file . For example , lets say that in the DataGridView control I only show the following fields :Field1 , Field2 and Field3 .Now , when the user selects an entry in the DataGridView control , I want to insert the text from Field4 into a text box on the form .
The problem , however , is that I don't know how to get the specific row in the data base file and also I don't know how to get the text in column (field) Field4 of that row .One thing that might be important is that the index of the row in the data base file is not necessarily the same with the index of the current row in the DataGridView control . What I want to do is when I click on each grid on the form (Touch Screen), a tooltip of some stored information about the grid appears on screen. I have a web site where users enter company names to use in the rest of the app. However, recently I've noticed that similar duplicates are appearing, e.g. someone will enter EastTec Solicitors another will enter EastTec Solicitors Ltd someone else will enter EastTec Solictors (missed the i out in Solicitors), when there should only be one entry of EastTec Solicitors. What is the best way of checking the database for entries similar to what they have entered? How would you about checking for spelling mistakes as well like the Solicitors one?

I've looked around and I haven't found anything that fits my needs.I wish for the program to be able to intercept the Win32 (?) messages that are being sent to my own application, which is written in Visual Basic.As a side note, is "intercept the Win32 messages" the correct phrasing?Either way, an elaboration won't hurt; I wish for the spy tool to intercept the same messages that I would programmatically intercept with WndProc, i.e: the SendMessages and PostMessages.
I wish to make it clear that I am not seeking a program that intercepts the .NET framework events.
Edits:I can see my window and the handles of its child controls, but I do not receive any messages.I am using Windows 7 64 bit.My Spy++ version is 8.00.50727 Semi-solved; I have got a Spy++ alternative ([Window Detective][1]) to work on my virtual machine, which I am most certainly happy with, and would definitely not mind settling for. Although I am still wondering why all the "spy-like" programs I found did not work on my "main" PC... but I guess I needn't care.
