The user can modify this displayed value as well. In VB6 I had a combobox where the list property contained a two dimensional array. My program that I'm creating is a quiz creation tool, based for teachers to create quizzes and then use them to aid with quizzing their students.I've got the whole program working in that you can create quiz, play the quiz and then see how many questions were answers correctly and how many questions their were The problem I'm having is that I don't know how I can save multiple quizzes, for example you can create one quiz, that then saves as a .txt in debug however, when you then create another quiz and click the save file the old quiz details are sitting in the .txt

We have an application with an mdicontainer form which has a menustrip with many toolstripmenuitems. Each of these toolstripmenuitems has dropdown items. We want to be able to set the Visible properties of these dropdown items to true and false in various situations. We are able to do this e.g, mnuFileOpen.visible = True and it does make the menu item visible.

net/watin application and I am trying to select and item from a combobox on a client's website. I can use watin to drop the list down and select (highlite) an item from the list but the selected item will not populate the textbox above. It seems like watin's .select() is not triggering an event to fire.I can work around this by writing in the first letter of the item in the combobox and use the hypertext feature to select the item but this is not ideal.

Since we have to resize the combo box dropdown area based on the combo box item length, used the drawstring() to add items to combo based on the item length. This gave us the below issue: On moving the cursor on the drop down area the font color and the background color are back hence the text is not readable (i.e. the whole item becomes black).

I have my program set up to read the contents of a Directory, and then populate a drop down menu with the names of the files in the directory. (I am using the MenuStrip). Inside my program, it is also set up to create a new file in that directory, and I wish to add this item to the dropdown menu upon creation. The list is entirely created and populated from the code, and the contents of the list depend entirely on what's in the directory.
I have tried using MenuStrip.Items.Remove(menuItem1). Now, when this command gets executed, it does remove the top level Menu, however when I go to repopulate the menu, I end up with duplicates of my files listed in the drop down. I am stuck with how to clear these out as well?
VB.NET Winforms Application... When a user starts typing in the search box of the application it automatically populates the name list dropdown box with the valid results and sets the droppeddown value to true... Everything is working fine except the fact that the user is forced to select a value from the name list or press the esc key because without doing so the mouse cursor just disappears and you have to move the mouse all the way outside the application for it to come back and it will only do so while outside the applicaiton.. Below is the code that I am using for this and it should be noted that I am using the droppeddown value else where in the application and none of those instances have an issue its only this one..
