making report there in vb.net. i have a combo box there in my form. When user will run this form combo box will get ID number from database. When user will select ID number from combo box & click on show report button it will get information from database & it will show it there in report(report viewer). As a result user will be able to print this report.

I want to know how can I get specific record to make report? For example I have student information there in my program. Its easy to create a report of all students. but if user wants to get & print specific record of a student what should I do? I have another question to ask. I have heard it that its possible to show each specific record there in each page by using NewPageAfter or NewPageBefore. I need to know is there any way that user will select ID number from combo box & when he will click on report button it will create report of that student what has been selected from the combo box?

Then i need to make a function that wil return the name of selected report, or if no report is selected then return "no report selected".After i made the list box i tried to make the function in the code builder: insert procedure -> function. I am using report.rdlc components in my application. I have one report where I have a tablix table embedded in a tablix list. The top of the list above the table contains all the group variables, eg customer name, customer address; the table contains the details, eg order details. I need to display the customer information again when there are too many order details to display on one page and I also need to display the order detail column headings again on the new page. So far I have played around with the Tablix properties and the Static row properties but no matter what I have tried I cannot get the headings to repeat.

My problem is that nothing displays on the report unless I take off either the training fields or the personal_details fields from the report.
When i pass the parameter and run the report it works fine as i close the form it closes the form is there any way so that i should be able to close the crystal report viewer and pass the parameter again and should be able to view report again.

I have created an application using vb.net 2008 and for reports Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008 but the problem is, when I run the application in another machine away from developing box, I get the Load report failed notice. I don't have any idea on how I should approach this issue. I tried installing the CRRedist2008_x86 and CRRedist2005_x86 but still the problem won't go away.

What I need it to do is connect to my site, make the pilot login, connect to FSX (Microsoft Flight Simulator X) and FS9 (Microsoft Flight Simulator 2009).
