how to use access to automate the process of opening the power point from the VBA code. So what it does is if the user clicks on the open button, the power point will open...The path and file of the power point have been set correctly.Here is the code for the button click, private sub:

how to set a powerpoint presentation as the powerpoint.application.activepresentation? In the program below, when the form is loading, it will open 2 powerpoint files (Test1.ppt and Test2.ppt). After Test2.ppt is opened, it will be the activepresentation because it is opened last.What I am trying to do is when I press button1, it will set Test1.ppt as activepresentation so that when I press button4, it will show me "C:Test1.ppt".The same also goes to button2 making Test2.ppt as activepresentation..But what I get is, no matter how many times i press button1, Test2.ppt is always the activepresentation.[code]

I would like to execute an external program within powerpoint after the presentation has loaded so i can see if its working. In short my overall objective is to execute the external program which will open up the command prompt and use the sendkeys method to sendkeys to command prompt which help it to run a script at the correct time (which is after presentation is loaded).

I'm trying to copy a Range from Excel and Paste the information in powerpoint in either the HTML or the default format, however, I am having some difficulties. I am able to get the code to work for pasting the Range as an OLE Object but nothing else. The problem with doing this is that having the embedded excel documents in the powerpoint makes the file extremely large and unstable. I just need to be able to paste the information without the embedded information where it is editable (so, not as a bitmap or picture).

Created two userforms in a single ms Word document, along with code, plus a macro on my laptom (Vista). Saved to flashdrive. At work I opened the word doc from flashdrive, but did not fine userforms, nor code & macros. There was a macro from another file I once worked on, but not the stuff from the file opened from the flashdrive.

I have 19 .CSV files that hold engineering data in single and multiple Arrays.I would like to loop through the Directory that contains the files and open each file, fill the array and close the file and continue to the next in Alphabetical order.
This code tells me how many files I have now and will update if I add more.

I have 3 forms, say Form1, Form2, Form3. Form1 has a public method assigning an image to a picture box:

The problem is that this code is Opening a new second instance of the first form (Form1), when I see in debug mode and move my cursor over the frmPers variable, It's value is Nothing, altough I am seen it at the screen ¿Why is this? I am loosing my hair after three days trying several forms to do it without any results.

i want to create an exe in vb.net by packaging few perl files along with it. when i am packaging those files i am able to hide those files by making the hide option true. but if the 'show hidden files' is selected those files will be visible. I want to lock/prevent the user from opening the perl file/code. want to know if there is any way to do it.

I am extremly new to this concept of aps.net and vb. all the tutorials I see are c# based or very basic for vb. What I have is a contact forum with some basic information. I got the whole "check if the user has input information correctly down pat how ever Its this whole, connecting to a database (sdf) if in another vb file ands calling that method into aspx file and proessing forum input to say "take this, insert into bla..." I come from java, JSP and J2ee bak ground where its not that diffrent and I dont have all week to read books and take baby steps. I have until tuseday morning to finsih this. I need to pass the values that I generate from SQL queries back to my VB code-behind window so I can apply a bunch of program functions to them. The queries work like a charm, and look something like:
SELECT Max(Number) FROM .dbo[00Masterlist] WHERE (County) = @County
and then in the next screen of the "Configure Data Source" tool I set up the WHERE and all is well.However, this information is only the beginning of my obligation to the project.It will display just fine in any data view I choose, but that's not what I want it for.I want to code with it from there. I've tried setting up the SQL as a string variable in the VB, but it reads the string as a literal set of characters instead of as SQL.I've tried stealing it from the form it prints to in a querystring, but that got really really messy.

Why Wont This Code Work?
I Have a password safe program that allows you to enter various passwords from different websites and adds them to a password protected list which then saves them to a file and then the file gets encrypted then when the program starts it decrypts the file and loads the list into the password protected listbox
Overall a very hard program to hack but there is a problem but i dont know what it is.
I Am Using the DES Cryptography module and no problems show up on the normal panel

I created this ASP.NET Web application and I can't get the amoritization table(MonthlyPaymentBox) to loop correctly. I think the problem is somehow in my code I am setting the TotalLoan = 0, but I just can't locate where that is happening. I assume this because instead of of starting the current balance at the users input, it starts at 0.

Would someone advise as to why the cursor position code does not work in the downloaded code snippet this code is from the second tutorial located within VB 2010. The debugger moves through the method but the cursor is not affected in any manner i.e does not move to position 10,10 when called to do so.I am using XP windows 2003 as a virtual machine through Macintosh OS X 10.5.8 -maybe this has an effect somehow?
