I follow a "new" book called "Programming Using Visual Basic 2008 7. edition" by David. L. Schneider.
But when I was creating a file called " PAYROLL.TXT " it didnt show up in the debug folder as it should. How do I get the file automatic located in the debug folder?
If first question is answered:Second question - is it the same way to include other files?
there is a way of putting a file in the debug folder of my project so that when i move it, i dont have to put the new file name

if you are debugging or releasing a projet , vs writes exe or bin files to the bin and obj folder in a release and debug version, are ther differences bewteen these files with the same name in 4 folders ?, eg myproject.exe

I want to be able to add a folder (and inturn, all of it's contents including subfolders) to a setup project. I can manually add a folder, then manually add all of the files for that folder; but this is a NetHelp folder with lots of subfolders and files.
Is there a way to tell the setup to add everything in a folder to the setup files to be distributed??

I am accomplishing this right now by using a redirect to a different form that's only purpose is to select the file for uploading and then submit it.. Sloppy in my opinion.. I have tried to do it from the same form but the file is being lost on submit.. I mean: Is the compiler smart enough to not emit any code for those calls? Or would I have to surround them by #if DEBUG..#end if directives?

the first problem is getting my program to load rss feeds from other websites mostly here:http:[url..... im trying to load it using the webbrowser. i want the rss feed to load right onto the form. im positive that its possible. i have the imports system.net in my code already for xml documents.the second is i cant get my program to write into a file that is several folder deeper into the bin folder.[code]......
ive tried playing with the code moving around the folder names, making sure there capitals are correct, etc. but nothing works. it creates the file in the wrong spot.
