We would like to have 2 ErrorProviders for a DataGridView. The standard ErrorProvider and another WarningProvider with a different icon. Also is it possible to Left Justify the standard ErrorProvider icon in specific DataGridView cells?

oSheet.Columns.HorizontalAlignment.Left()
This works against columns with text. I have multiple columns that are strictly numbers. This function will not work against columns with Numeric Cells.
Below is the MissingMemberException I keep getting:
Public member 'Left' on type 'Integer' not found.
What is the difference between ErrorProvider.Clear() and ErrorProvider.SetError(tBox,vbNullString)
Is there a preference for one or the other?
I'm not sure exactly if the folder icon is in shell32.dll, but nonetheless if it is.Basically, whenever I come across a folder in a FileSystem list, I want to add the icon for a folder to the image list that I am using for the ListView. I am getting ready to release a .NET 2003 application, and this application has a file type associated with it.During the installation I register the extension to be associated with my application, and everything is working fine.My question has to do with the icons. I want a specific icon for the exe, and also a specific icon for the files associated with my app.i want to have both icons in the exe file.I guess my question would be, how do i embed 2 different icons into an exe, so that if you selected that exe as an icon source, windows would see the different icons in it (as seperate icons)I know I can embed them as a resource, but windows only sees the main icon.To give you an example, of what I am trying to do, winamp, the mp3 player program, has several icons in its exe (see picture)(the visual studio IDE exe - devenv.exe - also has more than 1 icon in it)

Everything works good except for one problem.I have two columns, Modified_By and Date_Modified that should be inserted or updated as the user and the current date, respectively. So every row in the DataGridView should have the same value for these two columns.So far, I have thought of two ways to get this working, but neither one seems very clean. View 3 RepliesSimply saying I've added an Notify Icon to my project and then added context menu showing up when the left mouse button is pressed. The problem is that with the context menu some blank form is showing in the taskbar. There is no such form within the project.Does anyone know why it may be happening or how to get rid of the effect? I might add that I have other context menu attached for mouse right click button and it works fine, no blank forms and such showing on the taskbar it's just the left mouse button that works that way.Here is the code that I am using to show the menu:(the visible state to false is necessary for the other menus not to pop up with the one i want... unless anyone knows better method)

So, I am already able to successfully import an excel file to sql server through my vb application BUT I want to automatically change a value in a certain column to another. To expand on this, my excel file has a column that lists test titles such as "WCOB 1120 Access Test". I want to have each specific test title changed to a number. So, "WCOB 1120 Access Test" would need to be changed to '1' before it is added into my database.

I'm current in college and working on some computing coursework and putting the finishing touches on it when i stumbled across a bit of a problem.I'm trying to compare two cells in a database and i use datagridview to display the database in my form. The database is created by sql commands within my actual program if that makes any difference. What i have created for my coursework is a program that manages the stock and such for a small music shop and in the stock table im trying to compare values in two different collumns, but in the same rows. I need it to display a message box in the event that the value in the one cell is less than the other, which is basically checking if the stock for a certain CD has fallen below the reorder level.
