Move Line In Array?
Jan 26, 2011Is there a way to move a entire row from one array to another array, without having to move it cell by cell? Assuming that the row length in both arrays is the same.

Jan 25, 2011I have a text that has a question followed by four possible answers. At the start, it loads up line 1 of the text file and puts the sentence fragments into their proper place (text.split is being used). I want to be able to have a click button event that then reads the second line and replaces the first line's sentence with its own. Click the button again, it goes to the third line.
This is what I've created. It reads the first line (But honestly, I think it reads the entire thing and the first line is the only thing that can fit in the selected spots). It then splits the first line into fragments, moving them to certain areas of the form. Question goes to the Question label, answers go to the selected button.

How do I loop through an array in reverse without using FOR?I have an array of string values, I need to loop through these values until I find the first instance of a value then stop. I have considered a sort on the array but each query would need me to sort it accordingly (the data in the array has many instances of the strings within strings I am looking for, e.g. there could be several 'to' but I need the first, there could be several 'from' but i need the last)When I find the instance of the string, I then need to grab specific data from that string.

I need to make so that the first two bytes would be deleted and the rest moved to the first one's for example:
Delete: E4, 96
Move: A3 and all the rest to the place where E4 was. (|A3 = 0|,|47 = 1| etc.)
In C++ it's possible to do it like that:

data+=2;
how to do this in VB.Net without making a new byte array and then using a loop to put the all bytes in that place - it would be too long and would use more resources.

May 2, 2009I'm importing a text file of 42 lines, each containing 11 segments to be read. This is then split and put in an array. This is all displayed in TextBox1 for check purposes only.Next I'd like to search the array(0) of each line, and when the searched for text (search) is found, take the (1) (2) etc of that line to store in another variable which will be used for calculations later on in the program.I'll admit my head is now a Do Until = Crazy ! Loop I can't seem to get my head around the syntax and logic.How do I get a search function to check each line until the right text is found, pass the variables on that i need and exit that routine ?
