Object Declaration In If Condition - Logic Break Point
Mar 28, 2012
[Code]...
I am getting an error in above line says: objrpt is not declared it may be inaccessible due to its protection level I agree it may be inaccessible if the condition doesn't met - but here if it doesn't met it will take CrystalReport2 know ?
Ok every so often in .net (when i have a project that references another project in the one solution, and i add a breakpoint to the "non-startup" project) I get the following message:"This breakpoint will not currently be hit. The source code is different from the origional version"I tried to remove the reference from the project and re-add it from the other project in my solution - this did not fix the problem.
I was using a break point in this method to make sure every was running right with it. Basically it is a loop to read until the end of a stream but rwNumber resets after it gets to line 50. Does objreader.read have a limit on it i am not sure.
Public Sub FormatText() Dim filePath As String = openFileDialog1.FileName If filePath = Nothing Then MessageBox.Show("You have not opened a file yet") [Code] .....
The other night i was reading an article on preventing reverse engineering and i found out that you can check to see if their has been a break point that has been added into your applicaiton. How would i check if their has been a break point added?
I get like bunch of msgbox and when i break point the timer dosn't go to the end it just reach to the msgbx and then repeat again from the beginning , i dont know why, i removed the timer and made new one but still the same problem.
I am using Visual Basic Express 2008 to make a simple game. I am trying to declare a dataset object and datatable but I'm getting a bizarre syntax error and I can't find a help reference.
Line A - I dimension GameTable as an Object Line B - I instantiate the object Line C - I edit data in the GameTable Line D - I display the data in Visual Basic
Line C will crash in runtime if I don't do sometype of "New" declaration
Line B is my attempt at a "New" Declaration by I get an error message I don't understand - "Type Expected" - I think I have the syntax wrong here.
I have a hashset (of posdata), pos data containing a boolean and a label containing the hashkey. I need to draw up a condtion where it will check that if a boolean for two or three different records does not equal to false. And if the condition is true i want to set the boolean of the two or three records to false. Here is an attempt,
ElseIf (position.strLabel = "b2" And position.blnAvail <> False) And (position.strLabel = "b1" And position.blnAvail <> False) And (position.strLabel = "e1" And position.blnAvail <> False) Then
if I created a new object like this Dim sqlconn As New SqlClient.SqlConnection(cs) and Dim sqlconn = New SqlClient.SqlConnection(cs) Whats the difference?
I have a variable called Map(19,19) is List Of Point and a Object(x,y).i want whenever my Object move to locations like Map(0,Y) or Map(19,Y) or (Map(X,0) or Map(X,19) it will turn one by one part of my Object to the other side for example when my object at location Map(0,Y) firstly, Object'head immediatetly appear at Map(19,Y) and then one by one part of it moves like that. Here my code: you can start watch from rbGeneral.checked, i already get a current position of my snake by declare 2 variables X and Y, but at If Clause i dont know put anything there to solve my trouble.
Private Sub tmr_tick(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles tmr.Tick 'Move Snake Select Case currentDirection[code].......
I am working on a snake game for my portfolio and was wondering where the best place to put the logic for drawing the snake. Should the code reside within the snake object or within the form? Either would work, but I am wondering from a business objects/coding standard perspective where such code belongs.
I want to make my own xml-serializer class because I need other formatting than the System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer does. My idea is to treat properties of primitive type (such as Integer, Double, String) as XmlAttributes. To properly implement a usable Xml-Serialization I need to know which variables point to the same object (the binary serialization behaves this way). Because one object should be serialized only once in order that the connections don't get lost.On the side of XmlSerialisation I have the idea to insert a path to the class as a special XmlAttribute.
So I have some vb.net code, and I have a nested For loop inside a For loop, and then I have EXIT FOR statement, will it break out of one loop, or the whole chain?
I started making a game in VB.NET, but I am stuck on the pathfinder. There are round objects. I want to know how to find a path get one object from one point to another (or at least as close as possible) without any collisions.
Now This is my first post and i am very inexperienced with Visual basic As an extra feature to a kiosk that i am making as an assignment in my year 10 ist class, (were doing it in power point 2010)
i am making a visual basic keyboard in Power point from swish max objects inserted through visual basic toolbox, i have found code to make a button that can type in to a text box once clicked. But i need code that when you click an object it types a letter into a visual basic textbox that i inserted into the power point prestation
I hve been working with points a lot recently, and I have been wondering if there is a way to set a point without setting point.x and point.y separately. For example for (3, 5): Point1 = (3, 5) But that isn't right
The application uses ADO.NET to invoke sprocs for nearly every database operation. Some of these sprocs also contain a fair amount of domain logic. The data access logic for each domain entity resides in the domain class itself. ie, there is no decoupling between domain logic and data access logic. I'm looking to accomplish the following:
-VB6 and VS2008 IDEs use Ctrl+Break to pause execution for debugging.
-I need a way to map another key combination to trigger a Ctrl+Break
My setup may make this easier or harder but to be clear I am running Kubuntu 9.10 (latest stable) and WinXP in a VirtualBox VM. Obviously all VB6/VS2008 dev is taking place in the virtual machine. So maybe it's possible to have the linux host send through Ctrl+Break based on a key mapping, or maybe it's possible to remap directly in WinXP. I'd settle for any solution as atm I need to use the XP On-Screen keyboard to send a Ctrl+Break.
I have a Diagonal line drawn on a picture box on my forum and i need to know if the user has clicked the line I have the Start point and End Point of the Line and the mouse x,y location So i basically need to find out if the x,y of the mouse is on the line.
I'm trying to extract a piece of text from within the string, defining both a starting point and an ending point. For instance, say I want to search for the text found between "That is a " and " car" in the string "That is a red car", so it would return "red".I know you can use .SelectionStart and SelectionLength, but the length of the word can change, so the selection length can vary. What I want is to establish a specific starting point and a specific ending point from which to extract the text from the string.
i have a picturebox which displays a map i have 2 modes add point and delete point when the user clicks the picture it creates a point on the picture where the user has clicked that works perfectly its when i try and delete the point when it doesent work :/ i have all the points loading from an xml file this is the code i have:
[Code]...
basicly i want it to when the user clicks the point it fines the x any y in the xml delete the node then delete all the points on the map then reload them all according to the xml
Let's say I got a list called myFirstList And then I want to create a copy of that list so I can do some tweaks of my own. So I do this:
mySecondList = myFirstList mySecondList.doTweaks
But I noticed that the tweaks also affect the myFirstList object! I only want the tweaks to affect the second one And afterwards I will want to completely delete mySecondList, so I do mySecondList = Nothing and I'm good, right?
I'm trying to calculate the direction between two points on a two-dimensional grid. Actually I want to determine if that vector is within a range of two values. Suppose the grid's origin is 0,0 at the upper left corner, and 0 degrees represents north. I have a point A on that grid. I want to know if a line from point A to point B on the grid is within a range of directions between 111.8 degrees (a little south of east) and 158.2 (a little east of south). Those are approximations; the 111.8 is 90 degrees plus the arctangent of 2/5, and 158.2 is 180 minus that value. I worked out a series of calculations worthy of a medieval astronomer, but I suspect there is a simpler way. I'm going to have to do this for a variety of other vectors, and I'd like to generalize
I know how I can construct an icon setting point by point, but that isn't what I want. I want to use a bitmap file or a jpeg -is easy to convert an jpeg to an bitmap- and built an icon that looks like this picture.
I want to make a drawing application which needs a few drawing functions I cant handle myself as im not very mathematicly inclined The first on the list of functions is to create an arc from a start point, end point and radius. The method signature is as followes.
Function CreateArc(byval StartPoint as PointF, EndPoint as PointF, Raduis as single) As PointF() 'Code to create an array of points...
