Office Automation :: Controlling Access 2003 From 2005 - Error Occurs When - Access Any Property Of "access.Forms("frmTest")"

I have a program in VB.NET 2005. At some point I have to open an Access2003-Application for getting data in it. I do that by pretending my program is a human user and let it do all the work in Access as a human user would do. Filling Fields, pressing buttons etc. I use the Primary Interop Assemblies for that. So far so good. That code is in use for over half a year now. In the last week I got Office 2007 installed on my machine. Of course I tested the installed version of my program if everthing still works. Every test was succesfull. But if I do the same tests in Visual Studio it always crashes.
All I get is this Errormessage: {"Das COM-Objekt des Typs "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Access.FormClass" kann nicht in den Schnittstellentyp "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Access._Form3" umgewandelt werden. Dieser Vorgang konnte nicht durchgefhrt werden, da der QueryInterface-Aufruf an die COM-Komponente fr die Schnittstelle mit der IID "{66B22FB4-F70E-4F03-A00A-F76E9ADBBF10}" aufgrund des folgenden Fehlers nicht durchgefhrt werden konnte: Schnittstelle nicht untersttzt (Ausnahme von HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE))."}
For all who can't read german:
"Microsoft.Office.Interop.Access.FormClass" can't be converted in to "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Access._Form3" ... Interface is not supported.

I'd very much like to use some of the itextsharp pdf watermarking functionality in an access 2003 application. Alas itextsharp is tragically not referencable in VBA. My question is whether I can build my functions in Visual Studio, referencing itextsharp there, and render them in some form that makes the functions available to use within vba..

I have been going around and around about this and just can't seem to find the answer. I have an Access 2007 DB with 3 Tables I pull data from the first (STUDLIST) table to my form, I then pull data from the second(EQUIPINV) Table
complete my form, I now want to take my form data and create a new row in my third table(SignedOutEquipment)....(Yes I know that is duplicating data but overall it rally is not, there are reasons to do it this way) but this is where I am having my problem, My code runs with no errors and tells me it added a record but when I check my access DB there is no new record.

Ok basically what I need to do is the following:Read FirstExcelDoc (attached)For every row in that: Retrieve data from sql server db based on info in the Orange columns of FirstExcelDoc Let's say I retrieved data elements A, B, C, D, and E from sql server. Then I need to enter those same data elements A, B, and C in another excel spreadsheet (which has formulas etc) After inputing A, B, and C in that spreadsheet, read a couple of calculated fields and compare those results to data elements D and E retrieved originally from SQL Server DB. Finally, output the results in the Blue columns of the FirstExcelDoc spreadsheet for that row.Loop through and do the same thing for row 2 of the FirstExcelDoc and keep on until you see "END TEST" in the FirstExcelDoc.
I'm looking for a method of doing this efficiently. I have read several articles over the past few days as well as those from Mike R. but just need some direction to get started on this.To start of I'm looking for whether to read the entire FirstExcelDoc spreadsheet or just read the info for first policy number(2nd row) and process it and write out the blue column info for that row and then loop through and come back and read the second policy number (3rd row) etc... Please attach a code snippet for either way of reading the data.

I was given a ppt slide with 12 chart objects and a text box for each. see the zip attachment. This is a collection of metrics that we track and chart monthly. The previous custodian of this duty would manually open each and update the datagrid for each and add comments as needed. I want to automate this process using vb2008 express. I have a basic handle on windows forms and sql tables, but don't have a clue how to access these chart objects and text boxes in the ppt slide. I've tried adding the slide to my project - like an image, but nogo.
I thought I could update the slide using my form controls, taking data entered on the data grid, create my SQLdb and update the slide. There is a one to one relationship for each item on the form and the ppt slide - 12 ea (charts & boxes) on both. My issue is how to define the chart object (mschart) in vb and update the ppt slide.

I'm running into a bit of a roadblock here. I have tried to search the web/forums for answer for last several hours to no avail and I'm not the expert VB Programmer.However, I was able to write an app to do the following:
1) read Outlook emails for particular emails containing xml link in which I was able to download the file and save to my hard drive.
2) opened the Excel spreadsheet to run the macro which import those XMLs into existing XLS spreadsheets to refresh the data.
3) Those XLS spreadsheets are linked in my MS Access in which I join all four XLS sheets to create one report via Query which I have created in the past prior to this app development.
I have manually done a File Export of this query via ALT+F then E and what I'd like to do is to either take control of menu commands OR alternate method of performing a File Export to a new Excel spreadsheet (version 2003).I've seen two different methods, one via DoCmd OutputtoFile and another is TransferSpreadsheet.Here's my Access coding I have in my VB 2010:

Although a few people around here have said that Dates are not a huge deal that they're simply data, I always seem to get stuck on them, and my current issue is no exception. I am trying to save/retrieve data between my Access 2003 data and my VB2005 form. I have tried any number of combinations (even the forbidden Value.ToString, and having the Data Type in Access as string, and although it worked fine for saving the data, it doesn't work for loading it back into the form.). I want to know is there any functions or methods that i can use to batch update the data to MS access from vb.net 2005?Here is my case:I have around 70 records to update back to MS Access.Currently I only know update row by row. So, it means i need to loop through all rows. (I also have where ...=... and ...=... and ...=... in update command.)Its not a good idea because if some where went wrong during updating.The previous updated data will be in DB but the rest will not. So, data will not correct and up-to-date.So, I want to use Batch processing. If something go wrong, all will not update. If updating is OK, then all will be in DB.

I am using MS Access -2007 on windows server -2003. on my one of the query I get "Internal OLE automation error" after it runs. It shows data for a moment then data gets deleted from query when I hit OK button on Internal OLE automation error.
