I have an accdb named base.accdb in the root folder of the program. Basically I have several tables in my database and I need to show their values in listboxes (essentially allowing menus to be edited by adding/removing items in the table)I can't figure out how to connect the database (according to my friends/classmates), and i can't figure out how to pull the information from the table.
Ultimately, it would be nice if someone could tell me how I can pull out the information into maybe an array? so that if i add 3 items into the table, then it will create 3 variables in the program and put the values from the table into those variables.

basically, i'm creating a program that is saving text files based on user input.
another screen is then needing to transfer the saved information into textboxes.
to do this i want the saved .txt files' titles to shows in a listbox, and when each selection is made, the textboxes are populated with the information in the .txt files.
I am looking for a way to open and populate a new sheet while population the sheet from a file.xml. Any ideas?

Basically I need to open a website and navigate through it (Automatically through the program obviously), enter a batch ID and enter a file path and name. For some reason when I get to the part where I need to enter the file name and path, it simply will not populate the text. I have attached a word document with screenshots and code. The only difference I can see, is that in the bank website's code the the input type for the file text is "FILE" rather than "TEXT" as it is for the batch id...

I have a listbox that while running gets populated with multiple file locations. I want another button to open these files from the locations when selected. I have not been able to find a method to open these files after they are populated and selected. View 7 RepliesYears ago when coding with VB6 and earlier, I used a file open command to create, read, and write a file that made it easy to store useful information.I believe it was binary and you wrote/read the data to a specific line in the file. When you opened the file with something like notepad, it just showed random ascii chars. When I needed a line of data, I could specify what line to load it from.

However i encounter the following code error where FileOpen(1, ReadString, OpenMode.Binary) --> It prompts that access to the path of \xxxxxxxxxfolder is denied.
