Scroll Two Lines Respectively Located Within Different Rich Textboxes At Same Time?
Dec 25, 2010I have code that when text fills a main rich textbox beyond the size of its dimensions - the vertical scroll appears and simultaneously vertical scrolls the main rtb and a second subordinate textbox.
If I have a couple lines of text and I scroll down a line(row) of text using the cursor I wish the subordinate rtb respond in the same manner i.e. scrolling down the same line(row) and obviously the lines of text underneath.
Get File Address From File Dropped In Rich Text Box?
May 12, 2011That title is really confusing I know. But I will try and make sense of this.If you drag a file onto a rich text box, it will add this little watermark-ish thing with the file extensions icon, and the file name.

Dec 21, 2009I am doing a data migration from Lotus notes to another type of software that does not support Rich Text Fields.I am trying to write a VB 2005 program that will take any rich text fields that are found and place them into an RTF file - which will be uploaded as an attachment in the new software.I cannot get the program to take the rich text formating or objects to the RTF file, only the plain text.I have tried everything under the sun using the COM library to get these objects out to no avail.

May 2, 2009Have a main form with textboxes on it. When the user clicks a hyperlink on that main form it pops up a new form that they drag and drop files to either a listbox or textboxes, that part works fine. All the seperate form is doing is simply grabbing the filename to bring back to the mainform. That is working correctly. What it is then supposed back on the main form is read the files, again the reading part is working fine, based on the read it's supposed to populate the textboxes on the main form. When I have the listbox that the user drops the file into on the main form rather than a seperate form it works fine, form size limitaton and aestetics are why I'm using a seperate form. When I debug it it's working fine, I can't figure out where it's dropping the info because line by line it does everything right and it shows the values in debug correctly, however when the main form regains focus the values do not appear as they would if I loaded the file directly into that main form.

When I tried to open the file in the Richtextbox again, I got all the formatting characters in the RTF file. How do I correct this?
