I made a program that clicks in different places. I wanted it to be able to click on other programs, but it doesnt. I know it clicks because when i test it on VS where i am typing changes when the program clicks.

View 1 RepliesI am sure this can be done, as Visual Studio is basically built this way. What I want to do is simply make a class that my other workmates can use. But rather than have it in a code form, I want to build it (partially), and then my workmate can add it into their programs (sort of, like the add reference for the .NET stuff).
View 4 RepliesIve created a program for work which is very plain and simple, a problem i have been having with it is that the OK button. the OK button deletes a key from registry and copies a pdf to the desktop and also creates a .txt file in a folder and as well closes the program. This seems to work on the machine that i have created it on and also from a Flash drive but when i have the folder and program on another PC every button works apart from the OK button.

I am really confused! My program doesnt work if I dont have visual studio here in my pc. To test it I have uninstalled visual studio. But my program doesnt work though flash player is present there(I have used flash animation in first form). To be more sure about it I have installed Flash. But its not working! That means flash animation file(.swf) is not making problem! It needs support from visual studio to start. Doesnt it mean that some files are not attached with setup file as a result it needs visual studio to run? View 2 RepliesIn class i saved my program in with load of other test programs for the same assignment and got everything mixed up i finally figured out what was what and loaded the program in Visual Basic. Now my program doesn't recognize one of my forms when i try to access the design view of it. I hit run for the hell of it and the program runs with errors of course but the form1 "the missing one" shows up with all the buttons etc and i can use it.

In the above code when i click the button on the form, it doesnt display the message in test(). I have to click two times to display this message. Why this happense and what can i do to fix this? both the classes are inteh same project scopecheers.
My program will lunch when you double click a .rtf file but doesnt load the file. Can someoen help me on this. Ive tried everything, please do not tell me the website url... because i dont understand it. Ive read it, ive done it and my program wont lunch when i put in the codes they use. View 12 RepliesFrom the exception it throws, it cannot find a critical database file called cakecreationdb.accdb. I am at my wits end over this problem and have been up all night trying to solve it. I am quickly running out of time to do so.
The copy to output is set at copy if newer. I have also tried copy always and still get the same result.
I have made a VB.NET program on my laptop. It works just fine on the laptop. But when I install it on another computer it wont open (when I click on program it wont open form). I think I had this problem once before, but cant remember what I did to make it work. Its Win XP on the machine that wont open program and Win Vista on the one that it works on.

The program's function (if I manage to do it) will be to accept drag/drop files and create a link to them within the program itself. For example: I drag and drop the .exe to a game I have installed; the program then creates a shortcut within itself; the shortcut is displayed in the program with the name/icon; if I click the icon within the program, game launches.I've already manually coded something to this same effect, but it doesn't automatically add new shortcuts/buttons so I have to keep going back in and reprogramming another button every time I install a new game/program. I'd like to be able to just drag/drop and be ready to go. Any ideas on how I can get this function? I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010.

This question may be vague but I was wondering if anyone has ever implemented an application that basically creates a UI to list and monitor all running applications you have running. This applies to many developers who might have multiple programs running continuously and it would be great to have an app that monitors these programs..or does anyone think it is just unnecessary.
